Genuinely the best Indian food we’ve ever had. Generous portions, nicely cooked and very flavourful and tasty. I loved everything we got, but if I had to pick just one thing to recommend it would be the chicken poori, every mouthful was heavenly. They also have delicious masala tea. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive and we even had a nice little chat with one of the owners after our meal. Will absolutely be coming here whenever we visit Glasgow (and probably again on this trip)!

Wonderfully delicious! Well crafted dishes, rich but balanced flavors. Extremely enjoyable and unique culinary experience. No room left for dessert. The service was very kind and thoughtful. Highly recommend this family owned restaurant!

We went 2 nights un a row and took friends the second night. My hubby said the Josh Rogan was the best he ever had in 6 decades so he had it both nights and was not at all disappointed.
The service was impeccable. We spent £17.50 per person the first night but added starters and dessert for 3 out of us the second night a d then it £27 pp. Our only disappointment was that we live south of Birmingham and don’t know when we’ll get to experience those Peshwari nans again.
Highly recommended!!
If you go early you don’t need to book. It’s not worth taking the chance though as they were full when we walked by the first night.
What a lucky find!! Our hotel was a few metres away. I’m not the biggest curry fan but this was worth it.

I am staying 4 days at Sandyford hotel on Sauchiehall st. Right next door is a delightful small Indian restaurant, Chimes of India. A perfect place, not noisy, top quality food and service from lovely friendly staff made for a delightful dining experience for my German friends just off a plane from Heathrow.
Mixed Pakora of,veg, chicken, fish and Haggis were delicious
Keema Aloo Patia was delicious, as was Lamb Karahi. We had no rice as the thick sauces were really complimentary to excellent peshwari nan. A thoroughly enjoyable asian food experience. Please try, if in the area.

What a find!
Food is authentic and hearty, very tasty and a must to try

We had popadoms for two, chilli garlic chicken and a korma with a pilau rice and peshwari naan.

Food was full of flavour, depth and presented well.

The staff were very attentive, quick to take the order and serve food. Very friendly and made you feel welcome.

The venue was very comfortable, despite being small, gave enough space for people to have conversations and enjoy the lovely food.

I ordered takeaway from here while staying nearby and had an excellent experience. The food was tasty and flavorful. The restaurant was very accommodating of my allergies, and allergen information is included on the menu. The service is excellent too, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I returned multiple times during my stay in Glasgow and was very satisfied each time. I highly recommend eating here if you are in the area!

Absolutely cracking wee restaurant. Visited last night after reading some Google reviews. So happy we did. The food is outstanding. Generous portions & super friendly staff. We had the steamed momos & paneer starters, both were delicious. The lamb saag & chicken biryani mains, complemented with peshwari naan, were to die for. If you’re in the neighbourhood definitely put this wee gem on your radar. Easily holds its ground against some of the other heavy hitters in the trade. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic place for food. The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions. They were also very accommodating and made the whole visit pleasant. The food was delicious and the desi lamb on the bone was amazing. Great atmosphere, prices were very reasonable and consistently good. There was the ability to make a reservation which was simple enough. Well worth revisiting again.
