We had dinner at Del Sur Tacos on Saturday around 4:30 p.m. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, and we were seated right away upon arrival.
We ordered the queso fundido, three birria tacos, and a taco plate. The queso fundido was decent but lacked flavor; serving it in a cast-iron skillet might help keep it warmer and improve the overall experience. The taco plate comes with only two tacos, along with rice and beans. The cochinita had great flavor, but the rice and beans were bland. The birria tacos had good flavor as well, though any additional sides or accompaniments have to be ordered separately for an extra charge.
Overall, table service was good. However, the online menu needs to be updated, as the prices listed do not match the current in-restaurant prices.

I recently saw a review on FB so my husband and I decided to come try them out. The parking is small and off the main road. We came on Saturday afternoon, we did find a spot but the spots were tight. We were greeted and seated right away. The environment feels cozy and inviting. Our server Ismael was very nice and attentive. We started off with chips and salsa $6. The salsa was not spicy and pretty bland, needed some flavor. I asked our server about one of their tacos (Cochinita Pibil) he asked if I wanted to try it before ordering it. I was expecting a small sample but he brought me a whole taco! It was delicious BTW, I ended up ordering another one along with an al pastor (my fav), carnitas and a campechano. $3.25 each. I like trying different ones to see what they are about! My husband ordered the torta Cubana $15, he said it was pretty basic. Overall, it was amazing! We will definitely come back! I would love to try the El Chingon platter! It looks amazing!

Legit Food. Friendly, knowledgeable service (thanks Rogelio!). We tried several different menu items and you could taste the love– obviously many things were made in house. Margaritas were excellent! Will definitely be back.

This was our first visit to Del Sur Tacos, and the food was absolutely delicious! The tacos and grilled chicken were packed with flavor, and everything was freshly made to order. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys great food — it’s truly a hidden gem!

walk up to the place… looks genuine (not ritzy and trying to get attention) – already a good sign. walk in, greated by good music, great aroma, good atmosphere and friendly young lady. Ordered the lunch special carne asada torta. delicious! the salsas are different from the runny crap at the taco joints back in Tucson. its clear they used an eclectic mix of peppers to make the salsa. Cant wait to come back in town – def want more.

Food was fresh and you could taste it,the service was well worth the wait and very welcoming.They were very accommodating and friendly. The food was extremely good and the drinks were just as good. You have to try some shots. I’m telling you you have to check this place out, especially for the pocket very reasonable prices compared to the biggest barbecue spots. definitely recommend to anybody.

As a Mexican, I’m very critical of Mexican restaurants my mom made everything by scratch. This place is legit! Tortillas are perfect and the asada tacos… so juicy and flavorful! Are you freakin kidding me?!! I started with 4 and ordered two more! I’m not a drinker but they have many options. Come get ya some!

Horrible experience! Please do not go here! I came and the owner or manager was drunk! They were very sloppy and there was a really bad smell like spoiled meat throughout the restaurant. I got my tacos and they tasted sour. I made a comment about it and was told I still had to pay for them even though I didnt eat them. Please please do NOT go here! I really wanted to support a local business but the way they handle their staff, food, and customers is the lowest standards I have ever seen from a restaurant. Save your money and go elsewhere. This place is NOT it and i feel the health department will shut them down this year.
