I was craving Chinese food and wanted to find somewhere close and I am SO glad I found this place. When we walked in we were hit with the delicious smells. I was already hungry and that made me even more hungry. I was able to get exactly what I wanted, including the sauces how I would have done them. It was perfect. My son got some vegetable fried rice, we didn’t think it’d be such a huge portion. Can’t wait to come back.

If you have children, you definitely want to sit in the Chinese area. My friend and I personally enjoyed the bar area. It was very focused on locals. The waitress was hilarious, sweet, fast and we really enjoyed her company. The food was really good. I would say the fries could use a little bit more crisp but other than that everything was delicious.

The cable went out right when the supper bowl started. We panicked then headed to Red Apple. We were welcomed in and the restaurant provided 2 pool tables of food. I won a little and my teem won.

I tried both the American and the Chinese food, and both were excellent. (I appreciate that they served the burger with the hot side and cool side separate–every restaurant needs to do this.) Both meals cost me about $25, which is a great deal for this much food.

On our drive home today from a visit to Timberline Lodge we stopped by Red Apple Restaurant. So glad we did. I’ve been trying to find a good Chinese Food restaurant for years and I think I have finally found one. Very accommodating staff, great presentation (our order was an “order to go”) fresh and delicious. Will definitely be our “go to” Chinese restaurant from now on. Way to go RED APPLE RESTAURANT!

Don’t assume this is a breakfast restaurant. It’s a Chinese restaurant with a breakfast menu.
I can only speak to the breakfast menu. As usual we ordered the eggs Benedict and biscuit and gravy. The Benedict was a traditional affair, good thickness on the hollandaise, but very standard balance of flavors. It won’t wow you.
The gravy on the biscuits and gravy… Ok, its my estimation that it isn’t from a can. Good thickness, actual sausage. The flavor is the downfall. There really isn’t any. It’s bland, it’s cooked flour sauce served on baked flour cakes. Disappointing, but not something that will keep me from trying this place again.
