We moved to Opp last June and been driving by every day while saying I want to check that restaurant out. We tried the other places in town and was not pleased. We ate dinner at Dario’s last Friday, it was the best dinner we had out by far. I am very picky and always say I should have cooked, but not this time! The place was clean,the service April provided was good and the menu had a great selection beside the specials for the day. I thanked them and praised them on our way out and we will look forward to the next time we come in.

The staff was friendly and approachable. When you first enter you seat yourself and the wait staff is quick to provide you good customer service and a friendly demeanor. The food is priced reasonably but taste wise left a lot of be desired.
Having debated ordering a pizza over the spaghetti I regret my decision. Claiming to be authentic Italian while serving premade frozen dough skins is inexcusable. The dough itself had almost no flavor and was quite soggy. However the toppings were decent but no one ingredient was very bold in flavor. Additionally we also learned the mushrooms were canned, which explains why they were somewhat soggy.
The soda (coke products) was refreshing and tasty, but the pizza left a lot to be desired.
Having also tried the bruschetta it was clear the tomato was not fresh cut and also came from a can as they were soft and a bit tart. While traditionally this dish is served hot or warm, this location served the product cold.
Decent prices, clean and friendly location and staff, I would try their food again but I can’t suggest the pizza.

The bruschetta was served cold and tasted almost identical to a can of Rotel tomatoes. Not my preference at all.
We also ordered a pizza (menu boasts “always fresh”). Granted, I believe they cooked it to order – but the crust was absolutely frozen beforehand.
The service, however, was prompt and friendly! I’d definitely go back, but I’d try something else.

After a hot day of working on our new place, we just couldn’t decide on what to “run into town for”. Decided something cold was in order. Ordered house salad, caesar salad, and pasta salad…cover all the bases. Salads were fresh and delicious. Pasta salad was fantastic. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

This marks the second time I’ve eaten at Dario’s. The first time was the same week they opened (which the cashier told me was a year and a half ago). I remember telling myself to not rate them yet because it wouldn’t be fair. I won’t go into what happened before, but suffice it to say that this experience was MUCH better! My food and drink were brought in a timely manner and the linguine alfredo with chicken was quite good! I will bringing my wife here soon for their Prime Rib dinner (served after 5pm). When I do, I will post a more detailed review!
Holy smokes that steak was FANTASTIC! I had the ribeye cooked medium rare with a baked potato with butter and extra sour cream. My wife ordered the King prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and a salad with vinegaret dressing. After she finished the salad, I asked her how it was. Seeing as how she devoured the entire thing, I should have expected her response – “It was amazing!”
She ate her entire steak but only about half of her potatoes. I asked her how the prime rib was and she said very good, but was disappointed that it wasn’t hotter than it was. She gave it 8.5 out of 10.
As I mentioned, I had the ribeye. It was juicy and flavorful and VERY tender. It was cooked more to a medium than a medium rare, but it was still incredible. I gave mine a 9.5 out of 10.
I freaking love the garlic bread here! If I could order an entire loaf of it, I would! My baked potato, as stated before came with butter and sour cream. They said they had bacon, but the only cheese they had was mozzarella, so a loaded baked potato isn’t available. Finally, the potato had no salt or pepper on it, and I had to add it once I dug into it. It was quite hot, though, and easily melted the butter.
Overall, this was a great date night for my wife and I. I highly recommend giving Dario’s a chance at your patronage. I bet you won’t be disappointed!
