This is one of our favorite local spots to eat.
Their chicken is juicy, tasty, and fresh cooked.
My go-to sides are the rice and beans mix and plantains. Their Mac & cheese is some of the best Mac & cheese I’ve ever had.
You must get the spicy green sauce and white sauce for the chicken. So delicious.
The employees are always nice and friendly. I love having this place walking distance from my house.

Simple affair. Order at one counter, receive your food at the other. Speedy service. Everything I ordered (1/4 Dark Meat chicken + plantains & mixed rice and beans) was perfect. Food is fresh and hot. Tasty. A real touch of charcoal on the chicken. The sauces provided were amazing but I neglected to ask what they were called. Simple dining area with no fuss. Felt homey without trying. 10/10 would eat again, and I will. If you’re in Pensacola, don’t miss the chance to eat here.

Decided to come out to Pensacola for the day! It was so yummy!!! 10/10! I will be be visiting again! The food was all good! The chicken was delicious so flavorful! Mac and cheese was incredible and the black beans were off the chain! The cashier was so sweet and nice! Super polite and friendly! Her attitude welcomed such a happy atmosphere!

The whole chicken is worth the price, it’s better than getting a rotisserie from your local grocery chain. The chicken is very well seasoned, juicy, and flavorful. The yucca fries and dipping sauce are also very tasty. I always ordered extra sauce for dipping my chicken. I love this place!

Stopped by this place while passing through Pensacola because of the reviews. It was my first time here and honestly, probably my last. It took over 25 minutes to get our food, the chicken wasn’t rotisserie style like I expected it was more burnt and overcooked, same with the plantains. The potato salad and fries were decent, though. On the plus side, the prices are fair, the place is clean, and there’s plenty of seating. But they definitely need to work on speeding things up waiting that long for ready made food just doesn’t make sense.

It’s hard for me to share this review because I absolutely love this place, however, the cost has gotten out of hand in my opinion. I remember before Covid just a few years back, you could get 1/4 chicken combo for around 8 dollars, now it is almost double that. I understand things happening like Covid and bird flu, but that was years ago now. If the company wanted to lower their prices back they would, but no companies usually do that. So unfortunately instead of this being my go-to lunch spot, I can only get it once in a blue moon due to the price:/

5-26-25 @ 630pm: been awhile and needed my Mr. Polo fix. Same great chicken as always!
Drove by numerous times and checked out the Facebook page; finally stopped in tonight. Ordered two 1/2 chickens + 2-sides with each) and under $10 each How could be be any good?
Boom it’s great first of all this chicken has and excellent flavor unique to this style. Slow cook tender and Really doesn’t need any sauce however, I got all three sauces. I got potato salad and Cole slaw. With my wife’s 1/2 chicken, I got her double Mac & cheese (she a Mac Aficionado). Scale 0 (bad) to 10 (wow)… chicken a 10; Cole slaw 10; potato salad 8; Mac 6. Best chicken I’ve had in a long while. Quick, clean, & friendly. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Well, disappointed is about as nice as I can put it . The chicken barely made it to be a good part of plate. Yes to the flavor, but was a bit a dry . I’m from up north, so when you say rice and beans I automatically assume we are talking yellow rice with gandules or kidney beans….. I thought it was rather odd to have black beans as the topping for the rice . And the rice … the most flavorless thing I’ve ever eaten. The yuca, which was the item I was looking forward to the most , was a French fry style . The sauce that accompanied the yuca was probably the best part of the dish. Maybe it’s just because I’m used to up north mom and pop bodegas, but this just was not It .

My husband absolutely love this restaurant. You know what I love…
They have a juice machine with soursop juice that is absolutely amazing.
I need for them to sale the soursop juice by the gallon. I would be their regular client every week picking up a gallon of it.
I probably shouldn’t tell yall this. I probably should focus on the food only so yall wont buy them out of the juice then there wont be any for me when I come lol.
But I just can’t help myself. I like to share lol.
If you have never tasted soursop juice… let me simply say it’s not sour.
Try it.
And save some for me.
Ijs.
