What a gem! Every single dish we had was excellent! The brisket was so tender and the sides just right… Did I mention pie? Homemade pie that was phenomenal. This may just be my favorite barbecue joint!

We were passing through the area and stopped for an early supper. My wife really enjoyed the brisket and slaw. I had a huge pile of chopped pork with fries and slaw. Both meats were tender, moist, and tasty. The fries were cut in an odd spiral shape and were crispy on the outside.
The ladies were very helpful and friendly. The casual decor was a combination of patriotism and scriptures and pigs. Instead of collecting tips, they have a pail for ministry donations. They use the donations to help local neighbors meet their needs.
If we are in the area near meal time, we will stop again.

Stopped in and boy were we pleasantly surprised! We ordered the brisket plate. Nice portion and the fries… Holy cow!!
If we’re ever out that way again, this is a definite stop!! That brisket is definitely competition worthy!

Absolutely the best BBQ in town. I HIGHLY recommend the brisket plate for lunch. Portions are large, food is always fresh and delicious. The service is wonderful and quick. I cannot say enough good things about this spot. From swinging through the drive-thru for lunch to ordering for an office celebration, I have had nothing but great experiences with A&B.

The reviews were spot on! Excellent bbq, friendly service. Hashbrown casserole is delicious, omg the bologna is amazing as is their sauce. I’m a slaw chic and I’ll vouch for the slaw I liked it

We have been picking up BBQ from A&B for several years. It is a must stop any time we are in Mayfield. I have even driven from Benton on occasion just for some BBQ. We tried their ribs today and they were delicious. Fall off the bone tender, excellent flavor, and a good price. We will definitely be adding that to our regular order. To know it’s a family owned and operated business is an added bonus. Give them a try. It will be worth the trip.

Ordered a bbq sandwich plate with hashbrown casserole and slaw and a brisket sandwich, asked for sauce on both.
Got home and noticed I got beans instead of the hashbrown casserole, the beans are really good but the slaw is extremely dry and both sandwichs had about a teaspoon of sauce and the meat was really dry, in the end I had to doctor the food up to get it down, taste was pretty good but nothing special, I won’t bother going back it’s just not worth the cost.

I had the best meal here that I have had in 6 months at least. I had a big juicy, tender ribeye, large hot, fluffy baked potato, crisp, very cold salad & toasted bread. It was fantastic. The service was quick & good. And a slice of homemade chocolate pie.

First timer for A&B bbq. Ordered 2 lbs bbq, pint of slaw and bottle of mild sauce to go . Bbq is moist and flavorful, slaw is small cut (I love) and sauce is sweet and mild.
No complaints here!
Do not let the drive thru line discourage you from stopping because it is long. There were 8 cars in front of me and I was maybe in line 10 mins.

5 star isnt enough. We’re from MS and just passed by to gas up at shell. We thought of trying local resto in the area and it didnt disappoint.. the serving was generous and the food is so good. The staff were all nice,helpful and efficient. Value for money!
