Not many places can you get some delicious elote in a drive through! Presentation! Taste! All amazing! Best Mexican I’ve had in a while! And drive-thru service was super friendly! Make sure to get an agua Fresca, watermelon is my favorite, tastes so fresh! Favorite spot in the twin-cities ❤️❤️

Stumbled across Los Cactus on social media – Tiktok to be exact and WOW… this place is a local hidden gem.

I ordered the barbacoa bowl and paired it with their watermelon fresca, and honestly—it was a 10/10 across the board. Waayyy better than Chipotle. Trust.

The bowl was stacked: juicy barbacoa, fresh toppings, and just the right balance of heat and coolness (that drizzle on top? chef’s kiss). And the watermelon fresca? Refreshing, not too sweet, with that perfect “ahhh” factor. Only if there was unlimited refills, id never leave. Together, it was like the food version of a mic drop.

Definitely adding this spot to my regular rotation. If you haven’t tried it yet, don’t sleep on it—you’ll thank me later.

A square deal and delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant for good Mexican food that won’t break the bank. I especially appreciate the fast and friendly service and the whole fried jalapenos and they put French fries in your burrito bowel if you want!
Open 10am-9pm daily and they even have a drive through

I’ve had a lot of good food here, and some mid food, tonight I just didn’t get any of the sides I ordered with my quesadillas . Still got charged money for them though. Maybe they ran out of the boxes they usually put quesadillas in but I still want my rice and guacamole.

This is a great hidden gem of hand-crafted Mexican food. Similar to another well known foil-wrapped burrito place, you order at a counter and then choose from a wide variety of ingredients. The difference is that this place has a much broader menu that includes Mexican favorites like tortas, chimichangas, gorditas, etc., and sides like elotes and Mexican rice. Almost nothing is more than $10. The meats are outstanding and flavorful. They’re well seasoned but not spicy, and in addition to things like chicken, asada (steak), barbacoa, beef, and carnitas, they have more traditional meats like lengua and an authentic al pastor that’s shaved off a gyros-style rotisserie on-site. They have a wide selection of toppings. The guac doesn’t cost extra either. On of the best things is that after going through the line, they also have a self-serve condiment bar with about eight or more different types of homemade salsa to choose from. They have indoor seating with a fast-food eatery feel. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s clean and well serviced. The staff is very friendly. Overall, this place can’t be beat for counter-style burritos and tacos, especially for those who desire something more authentic than what other foil-wrapped burrito places offer.

DONT EAT HERE. i drove 20min to try this place out with a friend, we got home and our food was cold… we’re still hungry so we ate & my friend pulls a long piece of PLASTIC/saran wrap?? out of her steak taco. we’re both immediately disgusted because we dont know if we have already ingested any smaller pieces of plastic in the food we have already ate so we decide to bring the food back & get a refund. we drove back & were met with rude employees laughing at the situation in which we feel even more disgusted by. the least they could do was give a full refund they saw the plastic and admitted to the wrong doing. one employee tried to only give me $10 back of the $44 total because some of the food was eaten. he took our food and bags back (which most restaurants wont even take food back) and proceeded to go through each item we ate off of completely missing the point that if plastic was found in our food what else could possibly be contaminated?? I wasnt willing to take the risk with more food from this place. Eventually we got the refund after 20min of arguing with these people. No manager on duty after 9 apparently. very sad situation as weve been excited to try this place out but after the disrespect and lack of good customer service i will never be back & warn others as well. unsanitary and disgusting. will be reporting to the MN department of health.

So fun fact, our daughter is vacationing in Mexico and sent over pictures of some tacos. Well that made us crave tacos so nearly 9pm we decided to get sone take out thinking we’re gonna go to Taco Bell. Well we decided to give Los Cactus a try and boy were we surprised. This place is amazing! I was a bit skeptical going but oh sooo glad we stopped in. Set up is similar to chipotle but much better, everything made fresh to order, got to pack my own to go extra toppings, well worth the money. The food is so mouthwatering delicious There are so many selections of Mexican food within the area but Los Cactus is so much worth it you get so much more for less $$. The vibe and atmosphere made us felt like we were in Mexico. I highly recommend making a stop here. The staff are super friendly and their restaurant is very clean. Plenty of parking spaces and did I mention they have a drive through!!

Los Cactus is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Serving up delicious, authentic Mexican food such as burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and more. All of their ingredients are fantastic. The service is very fast, even when there is a line. They also have a good selection of cold drinks. I have always been able to get a parking spot and a table – even when they’re busy. I also like the music they have playing. Great vibe – very vibrant and welcoming. Everyone that works here is also very friendly and great at what they do. Overall, Los Cactus is a fantastic local Mexican spot that I definitely recommend you try.

Chipotle style layout with more diverse options and hearty portions. Flavors are great (some could use a bit more salt) and delivers excellent value for the price. Great location for this area and plenty of parking. Plenty of seating inside as well. Service is quick and friendly.

If you haven’t tried this place yet, you definitely should! It’s the most legit Mexican fast food I have found in Minnesota. It’s like chipotle where you can pick all your own toppings and they give you a massive burrito but it’s all homemade. They also have great enchiladas and other Mexican dishes. They even have a salsa bar like in the Southwest. Closest to AZ Mexican food I’ve found since moving here.
