Great food moderately priced – we had the appetizer sampler with garlic parmesean wings, mozzarella sticks, and potato skins. All were great, but the wings were the best. Also had a build your own pizza which was 7/10, pretty tasty. Drinks are average priced, bottles and draft $4.50/$5, cocktails around $8. Chloe was a great waitress, very attentive and quick, even with all the chaos and packed house for the Craig Campbell show! Concert was great, acoustic Craig Campbell. I’ve lived in Murfreesboro for 5 years and just now got here for the 1st time, will definitely be back! All the Ruthie’s on the wall make sense!

My husband and I had seen Hank’s before and decided to stop today and Drew made our afternoon! Drinks, food, music, everything was awesome. If you’re thinking about watching the Texans play the Patriots today, run don’t walk to Hank’s Bar & Grill!

Visited Hank’s Honky Tonk (former O’Possum’s Pub) after seeing the ribbon cutting of their event space. Sat at the bar and the bartender got me a draft and the menu. Pretty much a bar food menu with a few “meal” items. The Happy Hour had the chicken bites appetizer $2 off so I gave them a shot with ranch and bourbon BBQ for dipping. I’ve gotta state these were excellent. The breading was light but had flavor and the chicken was extremely moist and tender. These were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. So much so, instead of ordering a sandwich I ordered a second helping. Food was great, beer cold, and service excellent. Wish it wasn’t clear across town or I would be a regular!

Bar that has some good food!
I’ve been to this place a couple times now, and both times I enjoyed the food.
The main reason I went back was because of the pork tenderloin sandwich! Being from the north, I’m used to having this every year at Fall Festivals and such. However, since I moved down to TN, I haven’t found a place that has them…. until now!
I really enjoyed the sandwich! It’s HUGE!!!
The fries are good too.
(I guess they have live music in the evenings/weekends, but I’ve only been there during the day on a weekday.)
The waitress/bartender was friendly and working hard, hustling all over the place!!

Probably the soggiest burger I’ve ever had. It was undercooked, flavorless, and sopping wet with grease. The bun had the consistency of a wet sponge. The service was okay but the food was not palatable. Not going to return. Probably a good spot to have a beer and watch a game, but not a place to eat.

Great service, yummy food, but way too loud! We will definitely go back, but NOT on video poker days, lol.

Was ready for a hole in the wall dive bar. Pleasantly surprised to enter a very clean awesome atmosphere. We enjoyed a delish lunch with the kids and had excellent service from Drew. For families, its high tops only.

What a great local find for our Chicago family! The owner is from Chicago so if you happen to be craving a dog or beef, it’s on the menu and you’ll be covered.
Yuengling is on tap – not found in Chicago – so that was big bonus. Our family dined on blackened catfish, wedge salad, grilled zucchini, burgers, mac n’ cheese, and pretzel bites; everyone really enjoyed!
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and, even though it was more “bar style” than we were expecting, we appreciated that our kids (ages 10 & 8) could come and we all really enjoyed some great local music.
If you are traveling thru Murfreesboro, be sure to make Hank’s Honkey Tonk one of your mealtime stops!

We stopped in here last week after our pedicures next door. The food was excellent, service great, fantastic happy hour, we missed it but noted for future visits, and had great live entertainment. It was packed and a great time with no smoking inside, thankfully!!
Only downside, it’s too small for the acoustics and sometimes it’s hard to understand the words during live performances. That won’t stop us from returning though, and soon!
