Tried to call to order take away, then instructed to order it online. Due to high order volume, the earlier time for pick up was 7pm if I order from their website (it was 5pm when I tried to order). So I tried my luck going to AJ’s and order in person. It finally took me 20 mins to take my pizza!
The staff was friendly. I was given a buzzer to tell me when the pizza was ready, so I could wait in my car.
I went for Red Top thick crust. My whole family loves it. The pizza crust is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sauce on top is nice too! Will certainly come back for other pizzas.

Opening on the Super Bowl is a daring feat but gotta start off with a bang! I’ve been a lover of AJs for a long time and coming to this one opening day I knew I’d see a wait, I’m expecting that as it’s one of the busiest days already add on the hype tha comes with AJs, the team there while busy was so polite and apologetic to those who had to wait a bit longer today. I enjoyed the sun, and waited for my 3 pizzas, once I got them I smashed an AJs bar pie and drove home! So fricken tasty just like the other two locations! Can’t wait for that patio to open! Congrats yall on opening day! We now share a bday!

Finally! boss level pizza in our town. I’m super excited to have AJ’s in Tsawwassen now. I don’t have to drive through the tunnel or head downtown just to get a good slice or pie.
The pizza is a straight-up 10/10, no doubt. Beyond the food, the space they’ve made which was kind of underused before — is really cool and different, exactly what the empty space needed. It’s also awesome to see a new spot already supporting the local community by donating to local teams.
Save yourself the drive and check it out—completely changes the game for South Delta’s food scene.

We ordered from AJ’s Pizza during the Super Bowl and had such a great experience! Even on one of the busiest nights of the year, our order was fast, hot, and absolutely delicious. We ordered two large pizzas and were really impressed with the quality — fresh ingredients, generous toppings, and perfectly cooked crust with that ideal balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Considering it was Super Bowl night and they’re a newer pizza place in South Delta, we expected things to maybe run behind — but they handled the rush so well. You could tell they were busy (understandably so!), yet the service felt organized and efficient. Our order was ready when expected and still piping hot when we got home.
It’s so nice to have such a strong new local option in the area. The quality really stands out, and it’s clear they care about what they’re putting out. We love supporting new businesses in South Delta, and AJ’s definitely made a great first impression on us.
Overall, a very positive experience from start to finish. We’ll absolutely be back — and probably not just for game days! Highly recommend giving them a try

I’ve been going to the East Broadway location of AJ’s Brooklyn Pizza Joint for about seven years — at least once a month. It’s my favorite pizza spot, and I recommend it to everyone.
I live across the street from the new Tsawwassen location, so when I saw the sign go up, I was honestly in disbelief. My favorite pizza place opening right across from me? I couldn’t have been more excited.
Unfortunately, the excitement didn’t last.
This location feels nothing like the original. There’s no dine-in, no slices, no sports on the TVs — completely different vibe. It lacks the Brooklyn-style energy that makes the East Broadway spot special.
More importantly, the pizza just isn’t the same.
I ordered my favorite, the Uncle Roni pie, on Super Bowl Sunday and asked for it crispy — the way I’ve been ordering it for years. It came out sloppy and floppy, with barely any char and only about four roni cups per slice. They weren’t even fully cooked.
I gave it another chance the following week. Same request. Same result.
I tried one more time again this weekend, making sure over the phone that they noted the request. Once again, it was a soft, undercooked pie with none of the crisp or texture I expect.
Even though I live so close to this new location, I’ll continue making the trip to the Vancouver one. As it stands, this location doesn’t live up to the AJ’s name or the Brooklyn-style standard they’ve built their reputation on.

Taste great and portion is large lost a star because it wasn’t crispy at all When I selected specifically for it to be crispy on an online order, although they seemed very busy so probably can’t afford to keep things in the oven for longer than they already are. So excited to have this place in the neighborhood! We have been big fans since their first location opened on East Broadway. You can truly taste the care and pride they put into their food. They are brand new and opening week can have its bumps while they find their rhythm but our pizzas were delicious and we loved chatting with some neighbours while we waited for our order in the sunshine. We will be back! And we also can’t wait to dine in to taste a pie fresh from the oven. There’s nothing like it.
