Motto Asian Cuisine in Fort Walton Beach was absolutely fantastic to celebrate my birthday.
From the moment we walked in, our server Vera, was amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel taken care of without being overbearing, which made the whole experience even better.
Now, the food—simply glorious.
The whole snapper was the star of the night—perfectly cooked with crispy skin and tender, flavorful. The sushi roll was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. You could taste the quality in every bite. The Pork in Love appetizer was rich, savory, and completely lived up to its name. And the fried cheesecake? Crispy on the outside, warm and creamy on the inside—an unforgettable finish.
Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Hands down the BEST SUSHI place to go to. My brother and I decided to try this place out after seeing all the amazing reviews. If you do end up going, make sure you bring an empty stomach cause you’ll want to try EVERYTHING! We ordered 5 appetizers, 2 rolls, and had a to go order for my dad. The boba teas are also very good. The server brought our apps out 1 by 1 and honestly it was perfect because I’m not sure everything would fit on the table otherwise. The wontons were perfectly crisp. The Takoyaki had the perfect amount of sauce and Bonito flakes. The crispy rice bites were . Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, our rolls were served on this platter with the most gorgeous decorations. It was all perfect. We will for sure be eating here again!

The food was amazing and presented beautifully. Sushi was fresh and reasonably priced and some of the best I ever had. The ramen and boba were delicious. If they still have the thankful cream roll order it if you love anything ube like I do. Everything here tastes like it was made with love and the wait staff were very friendly and attentive. Jason did a great job waiting on me. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in town.

Ordered dinner on a Tuesday using the DoorDash menu.
Service: The staff were very kind on the phone when I placed my order and when I came to pick up. They greeted us very kindly with no wait time to receive our food.
Atmosphere: The inside felt welcoming and relaxed/casual. The decor was nice and they have a sushi bar if you want to watch them make the sushi.
Side note: I usually give grace when ordering food to go because I always expect dining in to be better. I’m also visiting from Vegas and the Asian restaurants there are really good and I’ve visited other Asian countries, including Japan and Thailand, so I’m trying to be fair considering this is a small town restaurant and I originally grew up in a small town in East Texas so I know it’s hard for small towns to compare once you move to bigger cities.
Pork Belly Ramen: (7/10) I am not sure what type of Ramen it is because on the DoorDash menu it only displayed it as “pork belly ramen” and didn’t clarify whether it was Tonkotsu or something, but it was still good. If it was Tonkotsu, it didn’t really look or taste like it to me. I’m used to it being a more milky color and thicker texture. Nonetheless it had a good flavor and the pork and egg were perfect.
Sweet/Sour Chicken Bento: (6.5/10) it was good. My husband ordered this and he said it tasted like a regular bento. I usually order salmon or unagi for a bento, so I don’t have any past experience to compare it to. Some pieces were dry and some were not, if you like sauce I would request extra sauce because it didn’t come drenched (which I don’t like) but it seems like it was lightly tossed so the sweet/sour flavor was still there but it could still use a bit more sauce.
Mango Sticky Rice: (2/10) the rice was hard, especially in the middle. Not sure if it cooled down and got hard or if it was undercooked? I had a hard time cutting through it with a spoon (using regular silverware at that), and the size to price ratio was disappointing as well. It was a small serving for $10. The sauce was a good flavor though, had a touch of salt but still sweet (more on the liquidy side rather than creamy), and the mango was sweet too. Maybe it was just a bad day for the rice, but I would definitely get this desert somewhere else if I want to satisfy my craving for it.
Thai Milk Tea Boba: (8/10) tasted good and boba was nice and chewy.
Overall, I would eat here again to try their other dishes and to dine in next time.

One of our new favorite places!! Absolutely amazing service and food!! The menu has so many different options that all sound delicious! They even had a November special menu offering rolls similar to Thanksgiving type dishes. We ordered a variety of things and it was so so good!! Highly recommend, 10/10, we will definitely be back!!

New favorite spot for sushi and ramen! The atmosphere is cozy and cute! The workers there are so sweet and welcoming. I had the spider roll and pork belly ramen and it was very delicious! The broth was rich and flavorful. Also ordered a taro boba tea for the road which was perfect for dessert and was given a cute hello kitty key chain! Can’t wait to enjoy more delicious food from here!

Everything was pretty good, the Teriyaki was pretty good but a little chewy, the Soup had great flavor but the lamb was over cooked the Crispy Vegetable Spring Rolls were great and the Pork Gyoza was fantastic. Portion sizes were okay but everything was good. Worth trying more for sure

Oh my! What a great Asian food place on the Emerald Coast! We have had this place on our list to visit after they opened. We found out tonight they’ve been here a year!
The food was amazing! Had Cream cheese wontons and Gangnam wings as appetizers. Hubby had a soup with shrimp and the Pineapple fried rice with beef. Served in a half of a real hulled out pineapple!! YUM! I had a Rainbow Roll. The ingredients were fresh and one of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had.

Food was Delish and looked beautiful too. Service was timely. Friendly staff. Do think it would be beneficial if the menu told you what was on all the sushi rolls. That way you don’t have to ask the server a ton of questions. Will definitely dine here again.

What a gem this place is! We just popped in for a quick bite, with zero expectations. The food was absolutely delicious and very filling. I had the special * midnight roll (the plate with the 4 triangles) and my husband got the OMG roll. The service was fast and happy! So nice to have a service that was glad to have our business. The atmosphere was very hip and the place was very clean! If you like Asian food, definitely give this place a try!
