Club wasn’t hot, cheese wasn’t even melted, bottom bun so soggy it just fell apart. Nothing in the grinder that would make it soggy. Only had a few tiny pieces of bacon, grinders were a 2star. Hubby wanted a salad, only a 1/4 full, maybe 4 bites for a man. good grief for what they charge you’d think you’d get a salad. Won’t be back there again

Yikes… have never been here but have had Mancinos and Bellacinos, based off original recipes, to pleasant experiences for the last 30 years. This was not good. Ordered delivery through 3rd party. No prob with speed. Food was fresh just poor quality. My kids, kids meal forgot chips. Super greasy but loaded pizza grinder. Club was skimpy and bacon tasted like the bag stuff from Sam’s Club. For a $12 8” it was weak. Asked for no tomatoes, and had tomatoes. Steak sub with thin sliced steak was so thin it couldn’t hardly be seen. Didn’t even cover a single layer. Asked no tomato or lettuce, well that’s about all there was. This was pretty pathetic attempt. Mancinos in Portage or Bellacinos in Muskegon are SO much more solid.

We were on a road trip and spied by this place which looks decent and clean. We ordered the garlic chicken pizza which was amazing and had a good amount of chicken. The crust was thin and fresh. The pizza was saggy from the middle which might be because of the butter.

A friend of mine took me up here. The first thing we noticed – it is carry-out only – multiple tables inside, but you can’t sit inside. So we had to order and eat in our car—no picnic tables or anywhere to eat outside.
We both ordered the same thing. French Dip sandwich – added fries and a drink. The bread was decent and the sandwich had a good flavor. Not a ton of meat. It comes with au jus and that was good, but not outstanding. The fries were crispy but had absolutely no flavor. Maybe it could have used some salt.
For the drink – you can choose a fountain or bottle. I chose a Sprite Lymondade, which I’d never seen before.
All in all – total for two of us – exact same items was $35.32 with tax and tip.
I should mention that you choose the size of sandwich you want…4″, 8″ or 12″ – we both chose the 8″ and that filled us up.

We drive from Portage, to this Mancinos, for just the large nachos. WE live 2.1 miles from the one on Shaver Rd. But they screwed us badly with the last 2 purchases of nachos ( only 1 layer ) . This Mancinos does 2 layers of plentiful food. Just like the old days. While its not the size box it was 30 years ago… we understand the size, and the price. Well worth it. Thank you Mattawan.

For $27+ including tip one would think the order would be correct.
So check your order BEFORE leaving the store even if they have all bagged up, never know what you might get.

I wasn’t feeling perky yesterday and I decided I wanted a sandwich/easy meal today. After reviewing the menu, I told my husband what I wanted and he placed an order for pickup. When he brought it home, we were both immediately unimpressed.
I ordered a club sandwich. It had what appeared to be bacon bits on it, not strips of bacon. The quality of ingredients seem subpar especially as compared to the description and / or pictures online.
He got the steak sandwich that he used to get frequently and he noticed a huge decrease in quality of ingredients. The flavor has also changed. I ordered a salad and it had white onion all over it. You don’t put white onion on a salad and even the pictures show red. The chicken was just cold deli chicken vs grilled chicken. All in all in all, I think we will just take our service elsewhere.
In theory these are small issues, and I know that costs of everything are going up but we are willing to pay for quality and we did not get it here.

A delightful “Italinanesque” restaurant in Mattawan,MI – less then a mile North of I-94, Exit 66. Specializing in both pizza, as well as some of the very best (and biggest) sub sandwiches around, Mancino’s has something for just about everyone. Prices are commensurate with the quality & quantity of food you order -and- service is very friendly, and fast as lightning. The local folks here, love it. You out of town travelers, looking for a good meal, are in for a treat as well. They specialize in carry out -but- there;s no shortage of reasonably comfort tables/chairs to suit those who prefer to relax, and dine in. Try it – you’ll love it !!
