10/10 would recommend. I came to Des Moines from Calgary, and was so surprised with how amazing and authentic everything was.
The server was very nice, with great service. Highly recommend the beans for chip dip, they were unreal. The fajitas are fire. Not a thing I would change. Give them a try if you’re in the area.

Coming from San Antonio, I’m always looking for a taste of home, and this place was it!!!
Everything from the glassware and plates, to the music (and the scent of Fabuloso when the serving team cleared a table), reminded me so much of home!!
And the food is D E L I C I O U S !!!!! And you get a giant plate full for a reasonable price!
We will most definitely be coming back!!!

Look no further! This authentic Mexican restaurant is the place to be for a delicious lunch, dinner, or even just a couple of drinks.
Don’t hesitate to try the extra spicy sauce with a steak quesadilla, beans, and rice – it’s absolutely amazing. I’m on my third visit this week, and today is only Wednesday

I met my daughter and son in law in Ankeny. Never been to Mojitos before. Glad we did. It was about 11:30 am. Not very busy, immediately was greeted and sat down . The staff was very helpful in working with us to pick out our meals. Food was very good. Atmosphere was very relaxing. Will definitely go back, for lunch next time in town.

Very solid Mexican restaurant. I think they have the best chips and salsa out of any of the Ankeny Mexican restaurants. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Food was great…but service was bad…did not came up to check on us…we needed napkins and a box to go….nobody around to ask for things..and we have to stand at the register to paid, he wasn’t even ready for our ticket…then he also charge us for stuff that we did not consume…it wasn’t a lot but still…..service was really horrible…

What a pleasant surprise!!! Decided to try this small mexican restaurant we saw in a strip mall. Now it is our favorite Mexican food restaurant. Great food and excellent service!!! The Texas Burritos are fantastic and the Birria plate was so so tasty. Love this place. Been going once a week since we found it.

The music is soft and in the background. The food is incredible large portions. The most important….the drinks! So so so perfectly made! Clean bathrooms and wonderful service. Think I covered everything important! Please come check it out!
