I usually order the beef ghalaba at Sana’a Restaurant because it is really good. The flavor is always on point, the meat is well seasoned, and it is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The workers there are also great. They are always friendly and respectful, which makes the experience better whether you are dining in or picking up food.

The only downside is the portion size. For the price I am paying for the ghalaba, the portion has definitely gone down and it feels pretty small compared to other places that serve the same dish. This is noticeable for both dine in and takeout orders. Another issue is with takeout. They are very stingy when it comes to giving sides of sawahq.

Overall the food tastes great, especially the beef ghalaba, and the workers are great. I just wish the portion size was bigger for the price and that they were more generous with the sawahq for takeout orders.

If you’re craving authentic Yemeni cuisine, Sanaa is a hidden gem in East Dearborn that delivers big on flavor and hospitality. The food is incredibly delicious, from the fall-off-the-bone haneeth to the rich, bubbling fahsah served with freshly baked bread, every bite was full of warmth and tradition.

The restaurant recently added private seating areas, which made the experience even more comfortable and peaceful. My mom even said it was the best Yemeni food she’s had in a long time, and that says a lot!

The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe feels like home. Highly recommend stopping by for a meal that’s both satisfying and memorable.

The food was good but their customer service what terrible. We didn’t get sauce until food was all on the table. We had to ask for it too. We had to ask for plates and those were late. We asked for bread and that was a battle. The guy was using a vaccum as we ate. That is ridiculous. Be better, all of this is a good way to lose customers. The place wasn’t even busy either and they had plenty of staff. Very bad experience for us.

This is a very respectable and calming atmosphere. The music serenades and through you. The authenticity of the natural environment makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. My young server whose name is Abraham and I’m very pleased with his pleasant performance and poise. The authentic menu is and the price is just rt just as the large quantity of the meal. I’ll definitely be coming back! Gid bless you all! Thank you Abraham!

I’m a frequent customer but was disappointed this time. I brought a guest for a late lunch/dinner, and the dishes recommended by the server were not up to the usual standard—seeming like leftovers. It would’ve been better to say the kitchen was closing rather than serve poor-quality food. Regular customers deserve honesty and consistency. Disappointing experience overall.

Honestly, i like the guys working here but the quality and quantity is getting worse every day.
The owners seem to be getting very greedy.
Not good.
Please, keep the quantity and quality like they were.
And not to mention the prices are ridiculous.

Highly recommend. Excellent Yemeni cuisine with affordable price. I had breakfast there I liked the Mulawah bread which was quite authentic. I also had LAHM SUGHAR it was really good meat. The Milk tea was super. I would suggest them not to add sugar to the tea let the customer add it by himself.

Dude, this was the kind of food that I totally wanted without knowing that I wanted it. The lamb whatever the heck it is that I got, the lamb soup… Mannnnn

So good.. The Lamb was melt in your mouth and had a little bit of juice on the lamb and basmati. “You likea the juice!?”

I mean and also there was enough portion for me to eat like half of it and take the rest home, and I eat like a horse.

I for sure am going back for this.
