I were in st.pete only a few days, and I live in New York, so I know good service and good food. This place made me feel like a dream – atmosphere and food quality and wine choice, I wish this restaurant would be closer to home! But then I might never cook again 🙂 Tigran, the owner, adds so much real authentic feel to the place, and you never want to leave. LOVE!

I had the pleasure of dining on a night when they had a 4 piece Jazz band! This made the atmosphere 5 stars!!! I ordered the filet mignon rare- unfortunately was sent back as it was definitely medium. 2nd try was great… but it did take well over an hour to get my food with this mistake. The crème brûlée for dessert was great as well! Nice visit except for the steak overcooked first time …took way too long to get my meal.

Sola is one of my favorites!! When I stay at the beach condo with my grandparents, we have to go to Sola one of the nights I’m with them!!!! The food is incredible. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

This restaurant deserves all the hype. From the bread to the green salad to our entrees, everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and well-seasoned with Mediterranean-style flair. Prepared with attention to detail – even the oil for the bread had herbs and spices. The pork was juicy and paired perfectly with the eggplant salad. We will be back for the honey cake!

Fantastic place at St. Pete. Super welcoming owner Tigran, a fusion of Mediterranean and Armenian cuisine with great wine selection. It’s a cozy, “old-world” style place with great atmosphere, phenomenal food and deserts. Would recommend as a dinner spot for any occasion. Will absolutely come over and over again.

Went here solo on Valentine’s Day and the owner was kind enough to squeeze me in at the bar and let me order à la carte. I ordered the duck confit appetizer and hamachi crudo and it was superb! The wine was delish too. Highly recommend.

Loved my first visit to Sola! The food was fabulous and we had an amazing time. We got the Burrata Caprese and Beef Tips appetizers. I expected them to be small so that’s why we got 2 but the Burrata was such a large service! Than we also got the rabbit entree (Lapin a la Moutarde) with the most amazing sauce and the Filet Mignon. We were so full we couldn’t even think about dessert.

We have been coming here annually since their opening in 2015, so when we visited they happened to be celebrating their 10th anniversary. And a happy coincidence it was. Everything about this St. Pete Beach culinary gem is delightful; from the enticing and charming atmosphere, the eclectic and creative menu, enticing specials, an expertly crafted wine list, the congenial bar, and the professional and efficient service. My wife and I shared the pork terrine wrapped in pancetta stuffed with pistachios and figs: absolutely delicious. Next, we shared the 65-day in-house dry aged ribeye served with a wine reduction mushroom sauce, and roasted asparagus. It was a savory sensation; the sauce elevated the already magnificent steak to Olympian flavor levels. A bottle of 2022 Chateau Peyrat – a red Bordeaux from Graves – matched the entire enterprise beautifully with its rich complex fruit and silky tannins. Our server, Dillon, made us feel at home and served us with aplomb and grace, while the owner, Tig, saw to it that we were satisfied and welcomed, as he does with all his guests. Sola Bistro is worth every penny and a treat for the culinary soul. Highest recommendation!

Went on Jazz night, food and atmosphere was amazing. Paul was a great server. I saw through the kitchen there was a dishwasher that was extremely attractive. Very handsome staff, great food too.

This place is both a hidden gem and the Saint Pete Beach institution. The Saint Pete Beach institution: all the locals come here they know what’s good. It’s a hidden gem for tourists. There’s no fried fish and there’s no fried food. There’s no blender there’s no plastic cups. This is a solid great meal. Excellent menu lots of options fresh fish great steaks, vegetarian options, chicken whatever you want. The specials change all the time there’s always things that are exotic that you won’t get anywhere else on the beach! And the wine section who knew? There are some of the rarest wines you’ve could ever possibly want. It’s so unexpected in this unassuming but excellent restaurant. If you can find this one when you’re in town, you are in for a lovely meal. If you’re looking for fried fish and frozen drinks, there are 100 different places on the beach you can try. 🙂
