Highly recommend attending some of his special events/ wine dinners too! It’s fun to see Chef get creative with the dishes and of course try some new to me Lebanese wines alongside the food! You can never go wrong with dips, the lamb pilaf, and don’t even get me started on his chocolate cake, delish!
We started with the (small) baba ghanouj and crispy cauliflower. Both were beautifully portioned, served promptly, and delicious. Warm, fresh pita arrived with the appetizers. Next, we tried a roasted beet salad. The fresh, flavorful red and golden beets paired beautifully with a light goat cheese sauce and pickled onions.
For our entrée, we shared the braised lamb shank. It was large and fall-off-the-bone tender!
Our Halawa chocolate cake dessert was heavenly! It included delicate layers of cake with sweet Halawa and a cloud of pistachio flavor on top. It was unique, balanced, and unforgettable.
The atmosphere deserves mention. Even with multiple other guests dining, the restaurant felt peaceful and relaxing. The staff appeared devoted and attentive to all.
Bey kindly acknowledged an original error, stepped up with grace, and delivered an outstanding dining experience. Their integrity, combined with excellent food, earns my heartfelt, honest recommendation.
We look forward to returning!
He had the octopus, patatas (potatoes), and grape leaves. He loved them all, especially the grape leaves, which contained beef, just the way he likes them. The garlic sauce on the octopus and the patatas was especially fantastic!
Now on to me. I have issues, in that I’m allergic to sulfites/preservatives. The chef/owner Marc spoke with me when I called ahead, and also came to our table to talk me through the menu. Much appreciated! The main thing that I have to watch out for in a restaurant setting is lemon juice or lime juice concentrate, which contains terrible amounts of sulfites. But Bey uses fresh lemon and lime juice from the top-tier brand Natalie’s, and so I was golden!!! I also have to watch out for wine, and they do use it in a few of their dishes, so I avoided those.
I had the hummus (perfect), the tabbouleh (fresh and just right), and a piece of salmon, cooked perfectly rare just like I asked for.
The hostess and each member of the wait staff made the whole experience relaxed, while still paying attention to every detail.
Canton St/restaurant row in Roswell is busy and cacophonous, but the area Bey is in is peaceful and spacious. And it’s not even a quarter mile away.
We will be back!
The atmosphere was perfect, romantically lit and not very loud. The bartender was 10/10, the food came out fast, and he even packed my leftovers for me (I love when restaurants do this). I didn’t take photos of my food but i loved the coaster so I got a pic of that and my drink.
Chef Marc is truly one of the best chefs I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. You can immediately tell he puts love, care, and intentionality into every single detail. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, and the personal touches throughout the evening made it feel like we were sitting in his own kitchen. That kind of experience is rare.
I brought my work team there for a celebration, and man, was it ever a celebration. The atmosphere, the service, the food, all of it came together perfectly. It created such a memorable night for our group.
I cannot wait to go back and would highly recommend Bey to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. Chef Marc and the entire team are something special.
