It was very good and the waitress was very sweet. I got a full slab of ribs with Cole slaw and house fries. The fries and slaw were very good, the bbq tasted very good but was a bit dry on the inside. My wife had a half slab with onion rings and the rings were very good she said. The prices were good for what we got. The kids got chicken strips and strawberry chocolate milkshake. Those were very good.

Wonderfully decorated, nostalgic diner! The food was excellent and fairly priced. The double bacon cheeseburger was tasty, but the patties were a bit smaller than your typical burger. The lunch special was chicken enchiladas with rice and a creamed corn. I was impressed with the plating of the dish, not typical for a dinner. Our server Tammi was very friendly and checked on us. Will be coming back to try their breakfast.

The staff were incredibly friendly and full of life.

Service was awesome, beautiful smiling face and pleasant attitude. Breakfast is not served after 11 am, menu does not state that. After several attempts of ordering different items, ( they were out of a few things, certain items affected more than one choice of food item)
Prime rib was exceptional! I got a salad with their home made ranch, which was very good. The rolls were also delicious and the huge baked potato ( loaded) had mozzarella cheese and strips of bacon. If dessert is your thing, they have a wonderfully delicious strawberry cake and several pies to choose from.
Atmosphere was great, had a old diner feel.
Not too busy for a Saturday afternoon.

This is a small family owned diner with the best burger I have had in years, our waitress was prompt to seat us due to not being locals, the atmosphere in this diner is so relaxing and enjoyable! 5 ⭐ is not enough for this wonderful little place! A must try if only to enjoy the old diner experience!!!!

Very unique place. The moment we walked in I wanted to take pictures of everything. Someone took a lot of time and effort to make this place nostalgic and it shows. I would rate 5 stars but I unfortunately had to take one away due to how long the wait was. They had one waitress and one cook so I kind of understand and in this world it’s hard to get employees. They were super short staffed. The food was good and decently priced but we waited a good 45 mins for food and at the time we were the only people they were preparing food, we had 5 people. The waitress did apologize for me getting my food late, most of my family had eaten before I got mine because as the waitress admitted she forgot to put my order it. She was nice enough to take it off the bill, even though we told her we would pay for it. It was really good. She was a doll and I felt bad for her not having any help. I do though highly recommend checking this place out!

Great little spot for breakfast. Country Diner in Monteagle TN. Just ordered the standard fair of eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a side of gravy. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavor was great. Service was friendly even short staffed. Place was clean and ready for business when they unlocked the door. I love the diner decor.

Don’t be offput by the location behind the Shell. It is like a little step back in time, it is so cute and relaxing inside. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The brisket sandwich is to die for!! Well worth our visit to TN from RI

Ribs were meaty and smoky! Onion rings are a must have and the salad with the homemade ranch dressing, burgers and fries did not disappoint!
If you are traveling on 24 and are nearby be sure to stop in! Love the diner atmosphere and Coca Cola in glass bottles.

Definitely a hidden gem it’s bigger on the inside than what it appears when you pull up. Food is so good. Staff were great. Cool atmosphere.
