We had a nice lunch today. The restraunt was clean and the staff was professional and friendly. The food was good. I had the blackened Mahi Mahi tacos, which were excellent on flavor and texture.

I am a native of Hartwell, and hard to believe, my FIRST time at Boathouse Grill. I will be back! Was there with family. It is not easy to see the signs that take you around several of the boat storage buildings. Parking is good. Great little restaurant on the shore of Lake Hartwell. The food was excellent!! I highly recommend. We had “peel and eat shrimp”, fried shrimp, fried grouper; salad w/ blackened Mahi; delicious hush puppies, onion rings, chicken fingers, etc… Our waitiress was excellent, friendly, attentive. Atmosphere is exellent with a “water/beach” type theme. Very clean. I give it about 4.5 stars. As a reviewer, it is hard for me to give 5 stars. 🙂 Give them a try if you are in Hartwell! You will enjoy it!

Staff is friendly and helpful, Hush puppies are yummy. Food was really good. Club sandwich is great. Salads are big. Remodeling looks great, very spacious inside. My only complaint would be some items and the fries are very salty.

Friendly and attentive staff. Stopped in for lunch with the family from a day on the lake. The complementary boat dock was convenient. Food and space was enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back with friends to see a band play on their stage and have drinks from the bar. This place looks like it could really rock!

Needed a place for lunch while waiting on my bike to get serviced at a local shop. Found this on google maps and decided to give it a try.
It did not disappoint. We received great service from our server Sidny. Very kind, and attentive. The food was excellent. I had the Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos and my husband had the Mahi-Mahi Sandwich. The margaritas were good too, both frozen and on the rocks. If you’re in Hartwell and looking for a restaurant that will not disappoint, I highly recommend this one. Nice views of the lake, and great atmosphere.

Took a two hour boat ride on Lake Hartwell to get there. We couldn’t sit inside because we had two dogs, but we were well accommodated. 6 of us for a Anniversary dinner, and found room on the front porch. Surprisingly good food and selection. All meats cooked to order, and right. Will definitely go again, but drive this time.

Chicken strips and fries were very good. Light and crispy batter. Lemon pepper wings were also delicious. Fun, quirky environment with a full bar as well, right on lake Hartwell in the marina. We were left a little underwhelmed with the staff but we chalked it up to the fact that they are running short staffed. They have live music and activities that they do on different nights which is posted on a chalkboard by the bar, I’m assuming it changes monthly. Love these types of off the beaten path eateries. They also have a tiki bar outside with tables waterside but it wasn’t open. Beautiful scenery of the water and the boats in the marina.

Very lovely local joint! Fun atmosphere with tasty food. Friendly staff, quick service & very clean. Appropriate for the whole family. If you’re in town visiting the lake definitely stop in for a bite!!

Great little spot with a view. Great food and friendly staff. Occasionally they offer live music during the summer months. Great spot to refuel your boat or ride out to on a motorcycle.
