Not bad. It’s Greek style pan pizza, which is not they type I most prefer, but it was decent. Kind of pricey for what it is. The facility is actually pretty nice for a pizza/sub joint.

We had been gifted a gift card to Portland House of Pizza. We ordered a pizza for pick up and when we got there to pay, they told us they had changed their “system” over and could not accept our gift card. We awkwardly stood there with the expectation we were supposed to then pay for the pizza. Although they were accommodating by canceling the order, I won’t be going back.

I got a mushroom/garlic pizza, and the ordering was very easy to do. The staff seemed friendly and the food looked very good. However, there was a hair baked into my pizza [pictures attached]. It poked out from under the cheese and definitely killed my appetite. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here.

Good food, good service, fair prices. I would definitely come back.
My only complaint, but not really a complaint because its not a big deal, is that i ordered a couple of meatballs on the side, and they added it inside my chicken parm dish instead of on the side.
Im looking forward to trying some other things next time.

Absolutely incredible food, best pizza I’ve had since a local place in my home town of Portsmouth, this place also easily surpasses big brands like Pizza Hut or Dominoes.
The interior is also very nostalgic for folks living in the 70s/80s era of diners with wood paneling and warm lighting.
The service was a tad bit slow but it was worth the wait for the incredible pizza!

The Greek Salad was exceptional. Most pizza joints do the bare minimum with salads. PHOP is a cut above the rest. For one, the Greek olives were sliced so you don’t have to spit out pitts. Iceberg AND romaine lettuce. Great dressing and bread too. Comfortable spot with great people too. David is a great guy and it reverberates with his crew. Check it out.

Tonight I ordered for the first time ever from here. Have other friends who live in the same building as I do. My friend recommended that I try something from PHOP. Well I can honestly say, that I am glad that I listened. Looking forward to ordering again.

As I was going home today from church, instead of my usual delivery, I decided to ask my friend from church to run me past. She did. They are as friendly in person as in delivery too. I, believe I met the manager, if so was very friendly. The staff was kind as usual, even if this was first time stopping by the restaurant. Got to see two of the delivery drivers that have delivered to me, in the building that I live in, at Deering Pavilion. I, will continue to get delivery from them and a pop in from time to time in person. Being disabled, it’s not always easy for me to get a ride. But so worth it, when I can. I, will continue to recommend this restaurant to those who will listen. So far, I’ve had their turkey club on a sub..french fries, mozzarella sticks, bacon cheeseburger, chicken, chicken Alfredo, steak quesadilla, steakbomb and chickenbomb.. Looking forward to many more items. Keep up the awesome job. If anyone ever wants a recommendation, either get delivery or stop in, you won’t be disappointed. PHOP ROCKS.
