Great place for some good ramen! There are a couple of options on the menu that can be made vegetarian. My go to is always the Spicy Miso Ramen; it hits the spot, especially on a cold day!
The Dorayaki is really good. We tried Taiyaki once with the bean paste filling, but it felt a bit too oily for our liking. Everything else has been great. The staff are friendly, and I always look forward to the guava candy they give after the bill!

I’ve been dining at Genki for the past 3 years, and they truly deserve a good review. This is hands-down the best ramen spot in Lafayette/West Lafayette. My go-to are the spicy tonkotsu (literally the best of the best) and the shoyu ramen. I always add extra protein (it’s so worth the extra $3) The ramen noodles are actually imported from Hawaii, and their proteins are made fresh daily, which you can really taste. The servers and owners are super sweet and always give great recommendations. Honestly, I would drive from Fort Wayne just to eat a bowl of ramen from Genki

Delicious food! Nice and polite staff. Much better than other ramen I’ve had in the area (I don’t eat pork based, they had so many options!) I got the udon and the broth was a bit sweet for my taste but everything was overall very good. Highly recommend!

My group of 5 people came in right before close and they still managed to sit us down and get us our ramen and food very fast! It was delicious, the chicken was marinated perfectly and it was some of the best rice over ever had. Will definitely be recommending!

Food is yummy but can get very expensive especially for students. Limited vegetarian options. Quality of ramen and broth is comparable to Yatagarasu.
Good vibe to the place.
Friendly staff.

This is my first time trying a ramen spot at west lafayette. I like the broth, very deep and flavorful from the black garlic oil. The pork was also very tender and delicious.

We got the chicken wings and the tonkotsu ramen.
The wings were super crispy and juicy, not too heavy but still packed with flavor. The tonkotsu ramen was the star though. The broth was rich and comforting, and the noodles were cooked perfectly

I’ve tried a lot of ramen in my time, some good some bad, and others in between. I had high expectations, but I can wholeheartedly say that this ramen takes the cake. The broth is perfect, the noodles are just right and the add ons really help elevate the flavor profile and make it very customizable. I highly recommend. Definitely my new favorite place.

Food was good! I usually get the rich tonkatsu with extra chasu pork. Sometimes the yuzu ramen, but over all its pretty good. Lots of food options as well. The service is nice they let you order on a table and they keep your water cup filled.

Flavors are good, but portions are small compared to what you pay. Barely an ounce and a half of chicken for each full Ramen doesn’t cut it. Filling the bowl with spinach to look bigger doesn’t add value. It’s also weird that all of my to-go sauce containers were filled maybe 10% of the way, not even enough to dip into it. Like if they were running very low and were trying to stretch it out to get through the day.
