A quaint little roaster doing big things in Plymouth. From the confines of a corner lot, these folks are serving up some of the best coffee in Metro Detroit. While the space is humble and perhaps not suited for whiling away an afternoon with a big group, the take-out line is like a well-oiled machine and the product is nearly flawless.
They’ve got rotating coffee beans for purchase to use at home, and a list of curated lattes that place subtle notes of heaven alongside their espresso, never overdoing it on sugar or syrup. A great and balanced sip when you want something different. The seasonal lattes are always exciting and I like their Gardenia latte, though I couldn’t tell you exactly why, it’s unique and floral and I assure you’ve never had anything like it.
Staff reminds me of the coffee shops I’d frequent in college. Always gently kind and, if pressed, willing to chat you up about the roasts and their history/process. Though, the location is always busy, to-go orders make up a majority of their business. So, even if they don’t look as though there’s a line out the door, they’re often toiling away on mobile orders.
All-in? A nice place to frequent if you like a delicate cup of whimsy.
Order ahead for quicker pick-up service…or awkwardly wait for your order on the sidelines without browsing your phone…instead looking up at ceiling tiles and random bits of decor to avoid eye-contact until they call your name, like a total psycho (me).

First time visiting Expresso Elevado in Plymouth. I ordered the chi tea latte with oat milk and a slice of the vegan orange bread. Sooooo yummy! Every penny spent was well worth it! Since I’m an economic development professional, I also understand supporting small businesses..periodt!

This is a really solid coffee shop. It’s really cute with attention to small details. They have a nice variety of latte flavor options, the espresso is good, and the milk is steamed well. They don’t have drip but I believe they do have pourovers. I ordered the Brazil one, and it was amazing. Light, with fruity bright notes. Very very good. Also ordered a hot gardenia latte. It was a very unique floral latte. I definitely recommend this place. They’ve got indoor and outdoor seating. Baristas were extremely friendly!

Love their espresso! The size of their drinks is perfect in my opinion and always done right! I’m a big fan of cappuccino and they always steam it foam to perfection! Definitely a small spot and it can get busy sometime. Parking in front of store is quite limited and I recommend backing into a spot if you can so you can easily pull right out!

Stopped in when I was visiting a friend. I was blown away by the flavor of the single origin espresso they had. I’ve been making espresso as a hobby for a while now and I have not experienced a bean roasted with such care to taste this good. I absolutely recommend this place. I wish I lived nearby so I could try this roasters creations more often.

I thought highly of this place before walking in but then was very disappointed. I stood in the front for at least five minutes before someone greeted me and then said “are you looking to order”. My very small chai tea was made and had very little flavor. I would not get that drink again, you’re paying premium prices for frothed milk.
It is not the place to sit inside to cozy up with a book. There are mostly tables but it is a very small cramped space.

I’ve been going to espresso elevado in downtown Plymouth for many years. They serve atmosphere as well as delicious coffee, Everyone is very skilled with the craft of coffee brewery and they offer a great customer service. Highly recommend coming here for a wonderful afternoon of drinks and snacks.
