Changed my 5 star review to 1 this is my 2nd time coming here and now very disappointed.
First reason person at counter was rude.
Second reason no one was wearing a mask …you can see the cooks in the back NO MASK! Health risk for everyone due to Covid 19 ):
Third reason was because my food seemed as if it had been sitting out for a while…waiting time is 1hr.
First time but definitely not my last!

I have been going to mocorrito on 35th ave and Glendale since it opened and It is a little pricy but the food is good! I do wish the service was better or atleast friendlier. I feel some of the girls who work there and have helped me on numerous occasions are not happy to help me out. What is interesting the men sitting at the restaurant seem to be provided better service. They are not super fast so don’t worry about arriving early if you are picking up an order.. I literally keep going for the food and not the service that is why I do take out..

Heard about this sushi from a YouTuber named Big Guy Appetite. Love him. We are currently on a road trip so we decided to try it! Was pretty good. Like a lot of people say the rice isn’t typical sushi rice. It’s like a block of rice. Almost overcooked in a way. Saw the prices and thought they were too expensive until I saw the rolls. They are MASSIVE. Overall was pretty good. Wouldn’t try it again though. Wasn’t crave-able.

We came for the sushi but stayed for the tacos de cabeza. I ordered three rounds. I highly recommend the sushi de charola for a group of 3 or more. The atmosphere got a two because we just wanted to wash down all that good food with a nice shot of tequila. Unfortunately, alcohol isn’t served here.

I’ve ordered for pick up, which takes about 25min never had an issue there. I’ve eaten there a few times, it’s pretty warm. The staff we’ve dealt with are not rude but for sure don’t go out of their way to be friendly. I’ve tried a few of their sushi plates and have never been disappointed. Today I had the Llegadora roll and it was great and plenty of food.

LOL, still cant believe I found a Mexican sushi place!!! And can’t believe I actually like it, a lot! Will definitely go back! It is more fried rice cake than sushi, for the rice part is like a cake, not sushi rice. It is fried, with sweetened mayo, aka some yumyum sauce, lol, so pleasantly tasty!
I dont usually eat rice/carb, and nowadays i eat very little. But the take out I was given, I…finiahed it ALL…I am sitring here, as speechless as I ever, as I am taking photo of an empty box…sorry y’all.

We came to this place in the evening. The place had trash on the floor and many tables were still dirty. The wait time to receive the food was on the longer side. After receiving the food it was actually okay. The worst part of eating here is the annoying Reguetón music that plays nonstop. I asked the waiter if they would eventually transition to other music but she said she didn’t have time to look for other music. This is definitely a “to-go” place if you are craving some good enough Mexican style sushi. Definitely not coming back.
