I stopped into Vinissimo and picked up a few bottles for the holidays. I loved the space and Guy was very helpful in helping me select a few bottles (I’m not very wine knowledgeable) that were in my price range. The selection is wide, with wines from all over the world, but not overwhelming. Great experience here and I’m glad to have a go-to wine shop in the area. Well done Vinissimo!

This wine shop is wonderful. Guy, the owner, couldn’t be nicer and is incredibly knowledgeable about wine. On top of that, he goes out of his way to get to know his customers and remembers what wines they like. He is so friendly and welcoming and has a great wine selection. We’ve also been to private events here as well and they are wonderful. Couldn’t recommend the shop more!!!

Guy and Vinissimo Wine Shop is such a special part of Central Street! Everything about the shop makes it special. Guy even has a wonderful wine club that I have loved being part of and picking up my bottles of wine at the start of each month to try out! Definitely stop by and support local!

You will not find a better little wine shop with EVERY kind of wine you are looking for. Guy is truly the best and once he knows what you want, he recommends wines that he thinks you will enjoy. He is always spot on with what I like. Guy is very welcoming and I have enjoyed getting to know him. Always look forward to going to his wine shop and seeing him.

Awesome little wine shop with an approachable owner. Guy has a very interesting selection and favors Italy but also represents other regions and countries admirably. I have picked up some excellent suggestions and even been able to place some special orders. This place is much better than Lush! Bonus points for good music and conversation. I only wish Evanston would stop with the stupid rules against dogs, but Guy has treats at the door!
