We stopped in today because we were married at carriage greens 31 years ago. So in general, we’ve been coming here on and off for the past 31 years. I know the bar has had a couple of different renters or tenants that have tried to make a go of it and the last one was terrible. I was so pleasantly surprised when we walked in as the bar is completely renovated with huge TVs and great for any sporting event. What I am totally disappointed about is that I live locally and have no idea that the bar was renovated and it’s as nice as it is. You are completely failing in the advertisement of your establishment. You truly need to hire a marketing company if you expect to stay in business. The service staff is awesome! I would, however, recommend that you darken up the place immediately. It is way too bright in here and as you can see from my picture, the lights are glaring. Nobody wants to sit in a bright lit up bar. I truly hope that you succeed as you have transformed this place into a beautiful sports bar!!! I gave you five stars to boost your rating, but you’re really at about a three or 3 1/2 right now but only because you can do better. I’m not trying to sound condescending and I am truly trying to help. I would recommend everyone to come and hang out here. I expect this could be a great place with just a few changes. One last thing. Get all your cleaning supplies off of the bar area and counter. Not to mention a broom and dustpan in the visible area of the bar. nobody wants to look at that. Please take this as constructive criticism. Like I said, this has the potential to be a great place, but you need to step up your game.

We have been coming here since 2003. Had our wedding here in 2006. The staff is beyond nice and attentive. Love Nicole! Great! But… Menu has shrunk quite a bit. Gone are the old stanbys and specials that MADE you stay and have an old fashioned. The menu is mostly predictable. The remodel is sleek and chic but has removed the cozy feeling that used to PACK this place. It used to feel like an old friend with oak bars, barrell chairs and a warm setting that just embraced you. Now it is “modern sports pub” chic that can be found anywhere— and there’s actually TWO places a stone’s throw from CG with the same decor. We loved this place for 24 years and still come…. but we really miss what made CG different, warm and and an EXPERIENCE.

My family met up at On Par for the Christmas Celebration; buffet with Santa. When we got there it was a bar that wasn’t decorated, no table clothes, and NO SANTA! We came here to support a local business and to get our annual family Christmas picture with Santa.
The food was tasty but not worth the $37. Eva was our bartender, server and hostess. She was friendly and polite.
I guess I am really disappointed that I received the ad for the buffet with Santa for days including that day, yet no Santa. The bar was not in any way attractive or decorated for a Christmas meal. There was a red bow on one chair at the bar! Just terrible!

I’m so mad. One person on Sunday afternoon. Running the entire place. Worst service ever. She thinks she can run the whole restaurant & it’s impossible. Awful. I hated trying to stop her as she was falling all over 2 different parties of 12. And sitting at the bar is where you suffer the most. She’s rude, she’s not capable. And she gets nothing from me. As she gave me 0 service.

Hair in Chicken Sandwich. Over an hour for Kids Tenders and it was 30 minutes after wing entree arrived first. Party of 5. 10 wings x2, 1 chicken sandwich, kids tenders and fries. I don’t eat until everyone else at my table gets their food so by the time I got my wings they were ice cold. Waitress says to take 40% off the tenders for it being so late but STILL said she charged for the Chicken Sandwich that had a piece of HAIR in it. It was not until I brought that to here attention that she said she would take off the sandwich. By the time I could eat, wings were ice cold and all appetite has been lost. Blamed POS system for order of food, but other table got their entire order before my son. NEVER coming back and it wasn’t even that busy.

Love this place! Food and drinks were on point and Laura (bartender) had us laughing and took care of us the whole time we were there. She can def make a great drink! I would recommend this spot for sure!!
