Found this great little place on the banks of the Cumberland River. We ordered fried pickles, chili fries (with homemade chili) as our appetizers. We ordered cheese burgers with double fries. The atmosphere was clean, our waitresses was prompt and the food was on point. If you find yourself in Cumberland I suggest you stop by, you won’t regret it!

The burgers are really good and the outdoor patio is hard to beat when the weather is nice.
They make some fun specialty drinks, too. Try the Lemonade Whiskey. It doesn’t suck.

First time going and it was great. Outdoor dining overlooking the river if you want. Beer and other drinks as well. Clean restrooms. The orders came quickly and tasted great. The service was great. The staff are very hard working people. I’m looking forward to going back again when I’m in the area.

Great little Dinner spot! Don’t let the name fool you! Check out the menu. Friendly southern hospitality, quaint inside and outside dining beside the Cumberland River. We had a group of 7. The service was excellent we had our drinks within 5 minutes, our order was taken and our food was out in ten minutes. G&E offers regular drinks and alcohol beverages from beer to mixed drinks. Check out the menu and specials offered in the included pictures.

There were six of us, we all ordered something different, all were satisfied. It is all made fresh to order. Highly recommend the Philly. The staff was friendly and helpful. They began cooking it order before we were done ordering so it came out quickly and was hot. They have a small outdoor dining area that makes it feel like eating on the porch. The only down side is the road traffic noise. Be sure to stop by when traveling on 75 in Kentucky, it’s a little bit of the highway so drive past the national chains and support a local business. BETTER food at a cheaper price. Oh and be sure to have some cake.
