Incredible food!! I ordered this on uber eats and now I’m addicted. The tofu rice bowl is honestly the best, and the chicken sushi is packed with so much chicken. They’re really generous with the portions too. Definitely the best sushi I’ve had… way better than St Pierre’s!

& Sushi Smalesfarm was a bit of a letdown. I went there to grab lunch, but the sushi didn’t live up to expectations. The presentation was fine, but that’s about it. The rice was hard, and overall, it felt overpriced for what you get. At this price, I was expecting better taste and texture. Honestly, St Pierre’s does a much better job for the same or even lower price. Wouldn’t be rushing back.

Salmon Don = best Ive ever eaten ( and Ive eaten lots!) ginger infused glaze, coconut milk rice, fresh mayo. Real wood chopsticks were a nice treat. Highly recommended!

Had a 30 min bus “layover” at Smales Farm and luckily enough this shop was still open to give me another takeaway option to Shake Out (which is great too mind you). Anyways, as expected an hour before closure they don’t have any ready-made sushi to grab and go, but they did have some made-to-order poke, donburi, and noodle boxes. The teriyaki chicken was perfectly pleasant and hot, and they don’t skimp on the details like even giving you what I find as the fanciest disposable chopsticks I’ve ever used haha (smoothly round, shiny, darker wood). Their prices are somewhat higher than I’d have liked, but I know where I’m at.

Beautifully presented and variety of sushi to choose from, including purple rice rolls. All delicious.

I’ve been a regular customer here and have always appreciated the food and service. However, during recent visits, I’ve noticed a change in service dynamics, particularly with a new staff member. It appeared that customers were being treated differently based on their ethnicity. Additionally, the portion of soy sauce provided was noticeably less than what was typically offered in the past. These experiences have made me reconsider dining here, which is unfortunate given my previous positive experiences.

They have the best sushi rice in Auckland and didn’t expect that from a takeaway sushi place. The ingredients are fresh and definitely worth the price.

I LOVE THIS SUSHI PLACE! I found this hidden gem while browsing for food after my pilate class. You pick your own sushi in the display and you pay base on the number of sushi you pick. The salmon are really fresh and nice. They serve the rolls in different kind of rice. I usually get the purple rice because its sticky texture complement the raw salmon.

Thinking about it make me crave them and i’m always tempted to order a 2nd round but i have to stop myself. The 2 girls who work here are fantastic by providing excellent customer service! The best thing is wasabi and soya sauce is free!! Make sure you come early as the sushi flies off the shelf.

Always loved the sushi here as it’s always fresh although it’s a bit more expensive than others, so I went there today as I’ve been missing since lockdown, I bought some chicken and seafood sushi, the avocado has turned pretty black and rice hard, chicken dry, could tell it’s not freshly made of the day.
I know it’s hard for hospo right now, but to be able to survive, treat your food right is the bottom line you need stick on.
