Tom’s homemade spam it wonderful!
Try his Royal Spam sandwich … made to order with a grilled pineapple slice. With a grilled pineapple slice, it could be called the Hawaiian Todd sandwich…
Tom and Emily really take care of their new and frequent customers.
The cheeseburger I got was really quite tasty, and the speed wasn’t too terrible, though a little on the slower side. Expect around a 20-30 minute wait time is what we found out. Our waitress was a little absent from us, but we were sitting a table and not at the bar where it seems the focus is mainly at.
Overall a cool atmosphere and decent food for a mom and pop store. I would go back if I was looking for a small place to eat at in the area.
Husband and I ordered the rise and shine breakfast for $7.95 (each) with water to drink only, for a total of $15.90. Yet we were charged $19.15. Not sure where the other $3.25 came from but didn’t notice this until we left. And that did not include the tax.
Toast a little heavy on the butter and sausage link slightly undercooked.
I will not come back here.
Inside is cute and clean!
The owner also gave us a short history of the place, which I always think is cool to know.
If you are in Prinston, Indiana looking for a place to stop for a bite, I highly suggest you try them out. Reasonable prices, good food, and friendly staff.
Set in the square of downtown Princeton, The Palace Cafe offers that retro fell of a 50’s 60’s diner where the food is made from quality ingredients and cooked to order. You can expect your food to be hot and your service to be warm and friendly.
The prices on their meal are actually some of the best I have seen and you can get your belly extremely full for a price that is not going to hit the pocket book.
I am a vast fan of eggs cooked almost any style so I felt the need to try them out scrambled and sunny side up. Both cooked to perfection in my book while the sausage patty was delicious and thick.
If you are in the area I recommend checking this place out. If you live in Princeton then you already know.
Tip: have your qr scanner ready to go to access a hands free digital menu. Great idea during these trying times.
Our sons are picky sure loved it
