Porta Rossa BLEW US AWAY. Every bite was unreal. We started off with the stuffed peppers, yum! My husband’s short rib was melt-in-your-mouth, and the sea bass I ordered was next level, SO flavorful. We loved our waitress! We loved it so much and will 100% be back. Absolute must-go!

This place is AMAZING!!! All fresh cooked. Many unique, fun options that a lot of restaurants don’t offer. Such as grilled octopus, prime, beef tenderloin, steak tartare, Ahi tuna Crudo, Frito miso, oysters on the half show, amazing steaks, pumpkin, ricotta, ganache, lamb, shank, ravioli, etc.. The food here is amazing. We had the grilled octopus and the Frito misto , which was amazing. The Frito misto is usually a crispy, calamari, shrimp, artichoke, pickled banana, peppers, zucchini, basil, lemon aïoli that would have wheat, but we are gluten-free. You can get it with rice on it or you can get a plain without any extra carbohydrates. Both appetizers were absolutely amazing. We actually ordered two of them. They were so good. Everything we had here was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back. If I could give 10 stars I would.

When you first walk in to Porta Rossa, you are greeted by the hostess, Laurie, who is the sweetest and will take you to a perfect table. The decor, music, sounds of cooking make the atmosphere delightful and relaxing. My friend had me try the steak tartare which was food from the Gods! Accompanied by a sparkling prosecco, it was simply amazing. The lasagna was delicious, fresh, creamy, and very flavorful. Thank you to Nicole, Sean and Jimmy the bartender!

This restaurant is beyond! We stopped in for our anniversary dinner and they’d even saved a special booth for us. We are both big foodies and this was honestly one of the best meals of both of our lives. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere romantic. And the food could not be better. Cheers to the chef! We noted how each dish was perfectly spiced and really allowed the flavor of the food to shine. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion! We will be back!

I had a wonderful dinner experience at porta rossa. My sister was in town from Texas and I wanted to treat her for a nice meal!
Our server was wonderful, gave plenty of recommendations, and treated us like we weren’t just another table. The manager Arianna came by to help us pick out a wine, and again to check on how our dinner was.
Overall we had an amazing dinner experience and I cannot wait to return!

Went here for Valentine’s, but would definitely come back again for date night! Everything was sooo delicious and full of flavor, and the atmosphere of the place was elegant and relaxing. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful, and eager to answer any of our questions. There was no pressure to order quickly, which was nice because we could truly take our time and enjoy each aspect of our meal. One of my favorite parts is that on the cocktail menu, there’s a “bartender’s choice,” where you let the bartender use his experience and expertise to make whatever they want, and my husband and I loved what he gave us! Truly a unique and worthwhile experience. Will happily be back, and recommend to all my friends and family.

This place is an absolute 10/10 from atmosphere to service and exceptional food. You can tell the owner is a passionate chef and his wife is an amazing host. Went on a date night 30 minutes out of our way and we are already talking about our next visit. Highly recommend!

This was our first time visiting Porta Rossa. The restaurant is beautifully decorated — cozy, inviting, and full of charm. Because the space is small and always busy, it can get a bit loud if you’re hoping for a quiet, intimate dinner with friends.
The drinks were tasty but on the smaller side, which seemed to match the portion sizes of the dishes overall. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the entrées were quite small — we were glad we added a few appetizers, or we might have left hungry.
Our waitress was delightful, attentive, and very helpful with menu suggestions. Overall, Porta Rossa was absolutely worth the visit and offered a lovely dining experience, though it wasn’t our favorite spot in Hudson.

It exceeding all my expectations which were high to begin with. Food was A+ in quality , preparation and taste. Worth every dime if you want quality like this. Our server Theresa was an added bonus. Made an exceptional meal even better. Ordered Steak Tartar and calamari / artichoke/ pepper app. Outstanding. Best steak tartar ever. Dinner was osso bucco , lamb ravioli , pumpkin gnocchi , and mussel pasta. Truly each were a 10. Dessert the donuts with sauces.
