Consistently disappointing. Ordered the rock shrimp tempura and it was regular tempura shrimp, ordered the sashimi platter and the fish was easily half the size I would expect from sashimi, ordered the yellow tail jalapeño and the fish was so thin I could see through it.
We also ordered some salmon sashimi à la carte which was much thicker which makes me think that the sashimi platter is a trick so charge you more for less.
Not a surprise that the restaurant was literally empty.

Plenty of parking. Quickly greeted and seated. Server immediately took our beverage and food order. Freshwater Eel, Bluefin, Yellow tail and a Trio Roll “Spicy Crunchy Roll”(Yellow Tail, Tuna and Salmon). Great service and very friendly. Sashimi and Sushi were good. The Trio roll was cold in the middle as though it hadn’t thawed out. Good all around except the roll. Prices weren’t low or high, middle of the line. 4of5 stars.

Better sushi and buffet style at Kyoto. Not worth the same price, a bit less, at this restaurant. Nice server. I did like the fried sushi. Eel sauce was good too!

Lunch at Kai’s was great. They have lots of options and some good lunch deals. My friend and I ordered vegetable gyoza to share and we each had the three roll lunch combo, which was very filling. Fresh fish, nice staff and an overall relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a nice spot to catch up with a friend.

Me and my gf had the shrimp tempura with veggies and they were all good. Their shrimp sause is delicious.
I had the Tonkotus Ramen and it was delicious bed ramen I’ve had.

Ordered hibachi steak, was very good, vegetables were good, rice and noodles also good, love the hibachi sauce.
Ordered sashimi and sushi special, was good except they gave us rotten tuna which kinda ruined the whole dish. Would’ve been a 10/10 but the rotten tuna really was a fail so undecided if I’ll go back.
Also food was hot which is a plus too!!

I think sometime when you do takeout you don’t get the same portion as when you dine in. But definitely not Kai I think they give you the same portion if not more. I love doing takeout here because I’m single and don’t want to dine in by myself.
On 11-19-22 ordered chirashi when typically I order from SoyaSoya is on the end 4 bucks less and comes with soup or salad and the middle is from Kais. There a certain pro and cons about both places so equally good but chirashi at Soya is better price and portion.

Really great service and good sushi that saves you a drive to downtown. There is a great variety of rolls. The waitress was always paying attention to us and even had a great attitude and helped us prepare our sake bombs.
