Our group had a nice time here! They were a little on the busy side, so we waited for our hibachi chef, but once they started, it was a great show! My only note, is that he didn’t stop when people gave the “stop” cue for the saki, leading to a lot of spills on their faces and clothes.
There were a few of us with dietary restrictions and our server was very knowledgeable! She paid extra attention and made sure we received the correct dishes from the soup (they had a separate gf miso soup) to the salad to the entree. We enjoyed a gluten free hibachi dinner cooked in the back and brought out to us. Luckily, their yum yum sauce was also gf! (It was the salad dressing too!) Would recommend and will be back again!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Fuji. Traveling on business, I ate here 3 days in a row. The sushi quality is excellent! I was also extremely impressed with how attentive and kind all of the staff were during my visit.

After putting in a reservation for 530 we didnt get seated until 6. Then had to wait another half hour for the cook to come to the table. The seating is uncomfortable you cant even stretch out your legs. You have about 18 inches of leg room before your kicking at a wall. But when you get the show you know the food cooks slow and everything takes a while to cook. Well we got to the last item to be cooked and the cook knocked over my cup soaking me from my pants to my boots. So I had to get up and leave. I got kinda lucky that tjmaxx was next door had to buy myself a whole new outfit to get back there and was still changed my full amount and a forced tip because I had a party of 6. Not a sorry or anything. I will never go back here again.

We decided to try this as we went to a Japanese grill place in another county and thought it’d be nice to go to a local one. The space feels claustrophobic, but was clean. The server was great. The food, however, was so-so. You get a lot of it, but it’s just ok. I also disliked the dressing they put on their salad. You don’t get a choice. I hate creamy dressings and it was sour to me. It was supposed to be some type of ginger sesame but it didn’t taste like that at all. You also get soup (yay) but it only had too extremely thinly sliced mushrooms and nothing else in it (what?). The sesame chicken was okay and was served with 3 broccoli. After going to that other hibachi restaurant this one was disappointing.

I love going to Fujis. I always get the chicken hibachi however i have been quite disappointed in it lately. The variety of vegetables is super lacking. You get basically all zucchini and only a few other types of veggies. Its not worth the price if i am only getting zucchini in the veggies.

I absolutely loved my experience here. We are visiting NY from OBX VA/NC, so I didn’t expect to be able to find a good sushi place up here but this one is better than our FAVORITE sushi place back home!! The food is perfect, the sushi chef is a really cool guy. We even tried new sushi, which is something that I’m usually scared to do. The chef made something just for us and it was the best sushi I’ve ever had! We didn’t sit at the hibachi but we got to see another family get the hibachi experience and it looked so fun! Very cool people and the food couldn’t be any better. I saw someone mention the food not being the best here and I’d have to say they’re wrong! This place IS the best! Maybe sushi/hibachi just wasn’t for them if they didn’t like this place. I look forward to coming back here every year!!

My family and I have been here a few times and it’s a wonderful experience usually. We went a couple weeks ago with friends and since everyone was ordering drinks I decided to order one. I was absolutely flabbergasted to find a bug inside of one of the ice cubes in my drink! I flagged down the waitress and showed her. She actually asked “would you like me to get a new one”? Now here I made my first mistake and said yes. She left my buggy drink, made a new one, brought it out and took away my gross drink. I thought the night wouldn’t get worse, but as my wife can attest, I’m usually wrong. I got the bill and had BOTH drinks on my bill. I was stunned. I wasn’t expecting a free meal, but perhaps a “sorry about our obvious bug infestation” discount. I brought up the problem to our waitress. She said “well you did order two drinks”. I told her one was not drinkable because of the bug. She actually looked at me like I was not going to win this until I showed her the picture I had taken. Her face was priceless. She said she’d remove THAT drink. I said that’s fine, the picture isn’t going anywhere. She countered with taking the second drink off to delete the picture. I declined. Integrity has no price. I suggest thoroughly checking your drinks/ice unless you’re into whatever bug is in the picture. Won’t be back.

I am a big fan of hibachi. I have been to hibachi restaurants all over the east coast. Fuji is as good as any of them.
They have great appetizers and their sushi lunch special is always on point. Of course, the hibachi is always perfect as well.
Fuji always provides a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy a meal. Their staff is very friendly and professional.
