It was such a relief to get real delicious home-cooked food. I recommend 2 of everything. Chips and salsa are top notch.

The food here was sooo authentic I thought I left NY! Everything was made hot and fresh and to my specific requests. The atmosphere was chill and relax. Salsa wasn’t too spicy. The enchiladas were delicious. The kids menus had a great variety and portions on Everything was too much, had to bring home. Great waitress with awesome people skills. Can’t wait to go back.

Idk what other people are eating, but it’s basically a slight step above Taco Bell in quality, but you’re paying twice as much. The guac and refried beans are disgusting; both are just pastes that they scoop out of a big pre bought tub.

Great food in a relative fair price.
Established 14 years ago so that should tell you something.
Will be coming back.

My wife and I discovered this gem last Friday night. WOW! I had the carnitas and my wife had the enchiladas with beef tips. She loved her enchiladas and my carnitas was the best I have ever had. Incredible flavor and a generous portion. Lori, our server was delightful and the family vibe was very comfortable. I highly recommend La Cocina for great and affordable food with friendly service!!

Authentic Mexican food in unpretentious atmosphere and price. Lori the hostess is very personable, and the owner Antonio will make you a dish to your liking if you ask. As soon as you sit, tortilla chips and salsa are kept flowing to your satisfaction. I had the dinner set #8: enchilada and tamales with rice and beans, had to pack half of it home, and we shared a Tre Leches cake for dessert. Did not disappoint…

We ordered 3 dishes for takeout – carne asada, carnitas, and chicken enchiladas. The carne asada (steak) was flavor full but very overcooked and tough. The other items were winners. We’d try this place again when we’re in town but probably not get carne asada again.

We are visiting from Canada and decided to try this Mexican place well-located between Green Lakes and Chittenango State Parks.
Most dishes we tried were yummy and decently priced (not inexpensive). Costed close to $50 including tax and tip for two adults.
Service was very friendly and courteous ♥️
We liked Chile Relenno, chips and salsa avocado salad, a shrimp dish, and the fresh tortillas. Salsa was so fresh!
Disliked the chicken taco; Big thick non flavourful chicken pieces. Hence 1 ⭐ less.

Food tasted good, but my steak was dry. Definitely well marinated and seasoned, though.
Pork for the carnitas looked moist and dining partner said it was delicious.

It was bright and sunny outside and wWme thought the place was closed because it looked dark inside and the OPEN sign didn’t appear to be lite. Good thing we checked, the lunch was very good!
I’ve had chili rellenos in more than a dozen Mexican restaurants and none were better than theirs! (Personally, I don’t like the heavily breaded ones)
Friendly and quick service too.
