Throughly enjoyed our time here. The prices are very reasonable, the quality of food was amazing, the portions were a fair size. Service on a Saturday was a little slow but they were fully booked so it was entirely reasonable.

Really enjoyed the food at this small little place. We stumbled upon it on our way back to our hotel from Thermea. It was very tasty and the presentation of items was beautiful. Chef comes out to chat with guests and truly is involved. Would love to return next time in town!

Mussels in marinara sauce
16oz bone in ribeye
Seafood pasta
Triple chocolate dessert
Crème brûlée
And two mocktails
The seafood was cooked to perfection, so tender and juicy, not one rubbery piece. The flavours were perfect for all of the meals.
Staff was so pleasant.
It has been quite difficult to find good restaurants since moving to Ajax, it was a short drive from Ajax to Whitby; and definitely worth it.
It was $200 for the both of us which was fantastic given how much we ordered and how great the food was.

Booked for Valentine’s Day dinner and was excited about the set menu format. Unfortunately, the entire experience fell flat. For $135 per person before tax and tip, I expected memorable dishes and standout flavors, but everything was merely competent—nothing that made me want to return or recommend to friends. Really wanted to love this place and add it to our rotation, but at this price point, we need more than just ‘fine.’ Won’t be back.

This was our first visit. Everything was amazing. The steak, lamb chops, oysters were all delicious…perhaps the best I’ve ever had, and our server (the beautiful red-haired lady…I forgot her name) was so friendly and made us feel right at home. We even met the owner, who came over to our table and welcomed us personally. Wonderful experience. 10/10 experience and I can’t wait to go back.

Had the most amazing experience dining here tonight. True dining, very home like experience like dining with family. Jose the chef was amazing & personable. Your food will be cooked to perfection, beautifully plated and promptly served. Service is top notch, menu is interesting and changes time to time and the dessert is to die for really. Last time I had the steak and it was absolutely perfect and was clearly an excellent cut of beef. Great spot for anniversary, birthday or any meaningful celebration. Note for reference: The Lake Grill is in a tier clearly above the Keg. I look forward to eating there again.
