We go here all the time and love the food, service, and environment. The patio is so cozy and the staff is always friendly.
The menu is the best. We love the lobster bisque. The seat are very spacious and you don’t feel crowded. The atmosphere is cozy.
The prices are reasonable and we always come here when we’re in Burnsville. We can’t wait to go back. HIGHLY Recommend!

Wow!! Beautiful outdoors area nicely shaded and feels like you entered a whole new world .
We walked in and picked out our table. Menu is mostly sandwiches and salads. For gluten free allergies they do have gluten free bread which I was soooo happy for.
We ordered the lobster bisque and it was very yummy and warm, the club sandwich for my husband and gluten free grilled cheese because I felt nostalgic. They had a sweet coleslaw with each sandwich that was very good and tasty. Everything was delicious and fresh and the potato wedges were cooked perfectly.
Highly recommend this place and taking a walk around town after to walk it off.

Disclaimer: Service seemed to be run by some, what I believe to be, high schoolers out for the summer so do cut them some slack if you’re there.
Other than that everything was wonderful. Seated quickly, waited on immediately, and food came out in a timely manner even though we could see they were very busy. No real complaints other than some nit picks.
Funny story: I eat a lot of vegetarian meals and so I was interested in their vegetarian Garden Burger and wanted to inquire about what the ‘burger’ consisted of, Impossible!, mushroom, etc.
The host said it was all beef. Interesting. Upon asking the server, she responded the same with the addition of their Black Bean burger which is a separate item. Upon explaining and showing the burger to her on the menu, she asked the cooks, and they replied it was a mushroom burger. Thought that was entertaining.

Not a bad place just not quite what expected.
Took some pics. Outside area seating ok but on the street noisy side. We opted for indoors. Just did not feel the factor that I was expecting but will not mark off our list altogether.

Had a great experience today at the Garden Deli in Burnsville. I got the lunch special which was this delicious spicy cheddar and brisket sandwich. The presentation of the dish was so beautiful (I forgot to take a picture because I was so hungry and it looked so good). 10/10 recommend this place to anyone coming to Burnsville!!!

I was very impressed, We started with baked potato soup and lobster bisque. Both were hot, we did like the bisque and I’ve never had it so we can’t rate this. But the photos to soup knocked my socks off. I loved the Club sandwich and while I always think it needs more bacon, well done! Hubby had the hot ham and Swiss and it was meaty and delicious. We did not have room for dessert and eating on the patio on a fall autumn day there was sunshine and shade whichever you wanted. We were there about an hour and could have stayed longer, the wait was about 20 mins on a Saturday around 12:45. Very lovely town and atmosphere, we will be back.

Update Jan. 2026: My husband & I often share a meal (as not to take leftovers home) but we add more variety with an appetizer, salad &/or dessert. THIS evening we had the very good fried cod dinner with fries and coleslaw, added house salad and the lava cake with ice-cream (the delicious chocolate flavor is there but not the hot lava flow inside, baked/warmed too long?).
Update Dec. 2025: Their ribs remain outstanding. Lovely Greek chicken platter and fried shrimp.

Excellent roast beef and barbecue sandwiches. The service was good, and the waitress, although new, was knowledgeable. Prices were reasonable for lunch. We would definitely go back when we are in the area again.

Great food is not bland at all the steaks and ribs are great it’s all good you can’t miss out on eating there it’s a nice experience the people are friendly Thursday thru Saturday they are open for supper of course the menu changes a bit you get the steak and ribs option plus almost all the lunch menu items then you got the bar next door the snap dragon that has its own unique menu so just in that one kitchen your gonna get the offerings of a lot great food with the options

What a great place for lunch, especially when it’s 75° outside. They also have indoor seating. I had the roasted red pepper and smoked gouda soup with a BLT (add extra bacon). The homemade soup was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Perfect layers of flavor and the gouda had small chunks instead of all blended in which enhanced the taste. The BLT was spot on crispy and look at the blood red tomatoes. Yummy! I would to come back and try some more items. Service was friendly and thorough. Highly recommended thumbs-up
