Cool little spot to snag a coffee by the beach. It was a gloomy day and we stopped in for a coffee quick. My wife got the affogato which she said was good but could’ve used some more ice cream. Then our friend had the seasonal special which was the spiced ulu latte. It smelled great and they said they really enjoyed it. I was going to get an oolong tea but they were out of it so I didn’t get anything. Woman working the place was friendly. Cute spot with many trinkets and clothes. Pretty expensive but that’s the price you pay for being next to the beach. Pro tip is to go drink your coffee in the hotel lobby next door as there are no seats in the shop very small.

Coffee is excellent, and the service is friendly. My lattes were perfectly made- not too sweet, smooth and delicious. I got an ube latte with ube cold foam and a white chocolate mocha with white chocolate cold foam. The blonde barista that helped me was attentive and helpful. I will be back to try more things. 🙂 the prices are super reasonable for the area and are on par, if not cheaper, than other coffee shops around Honolulu.

Delicious coffee — definitely try their seasonal drinks! Cute little finds with beautiful accessories.
Unfortunately, the baristas don’t reflect the Aloha lifestyle. I’ve visited multiple times and each time felt unwelcome.

My sister & I both felt unwell after drinking their coffee. Their cold brew was extremely acidic & gave me a headache. I’m questioning if they even cut the cold brew concentrate with water like you’re supposed to. The cold foam add on was $2 as well which is way too expensive. Aesthetic interior design & conveniently located next to Hau Tree though.

Quaint little coffee shop with merchandise that reflects the laidback atmosphere of the Gold Coast end of Waikiki. Service was friendly, and the drinks, Americano and matcha latte, were good. We enjoyed browsing in the shop while waiting for our drinks.

Kaimana Coffee Co. is a tiny cafe near the Kaimana Beach Hotel entrance. The espresso was fine, but not worth the $5 price imo. They’re serving Kona Purveyors Coffee beans, so that may be the reason for the inflated price. Service was fine, young adults mostly, they open early so you may have some grumpy baristas… ‍♂️ Minimal food / pastry options & seating out back is a bit cramped and uninteresting, but they have tons of clothes & merchandise & souvenirs for visitors to buy. They have a prime location (no others coffee shops nearby) but feels like a quick shopping / coffee for hotel guests & beach goers… so it won’t be a regular coffee place for me.

If you want a cappuccino that looks or tastes like one from Dunkin’ Donuts for $8, this is your place! Don’t expect a velvety, silky-smooth stemmed milk cappuccino from this place. They may have other great options of fancy drinks, but a basic cappuccino came out like one from an automatic machine.

A little peeved by the negative reviews. As someone on the young adult side (mid-late 20s now, so pushing it lol) I thought this place was cute, had personality while being trendy, clean, and welcoming. The coffee was great and not at all over priced considering it’s A) right next to the beach B) right next to the hotel C) right next to a gorgeous park and D) in Waikiki??? The food that we got was delicious (pastry and overnight oats) and we enjoyed it right along the edge of the beach. So we didnt stay too long, but the baristas were helpful and it was an overall super chill experience.

As an aside, I’ve been thinking about the overnight oats for several days now.

We tried for Hau Tree Lanai first but didn’t have the time to wait for 30 minutes for breakfast/brunch at 9:30 on a Sunday. So we decided to try the cafe. The scones were not great despite being warmed up. I consumed half of the bacon cheddar scone (it was like a brick). The blueberry cream cheese scone was okay (opposite of the savory it was fragile in structure). I ordered a matcha oat latte which was also okay. This accounts for the 3 star rating. The service staff was friendly and there are cool swim suits and other beachy things to admire during your wait.
