The Birria tacos were delicious with warm gooey cheese between the two corn tortillas and accompanied with a savory consomme. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for some tasty Mexican food. You will leave satisfied.

Return trip to Salsa Burrito Grill. For lunch, I’ve gone with two soft shell tacos. Chicken has been my go to. I’ve had chicken pastor and carnitas on previous visits. Usually add rice, black beans, meat, corn, cheese, Pico and sour cream. Generally a good portion and extremely good value. Place has a couple tables and a counter and is good for a quick bite or to go orders. Food tasted fresh and authentic. El gringo says Gracia! Mucho Bueno. Quiero mas.

Typically I pick up take-out from here. I have gotten outstanding birria tacos here (and sometimes soggy birria tacos) but when they are good and crispy, with the cheesy tortilla they are top notch. The consume is also more flavorful some times than other times, but I have recently tried the papusas and can’t say enough good things about them. They are very tasty and made fresh, the slaw has a nice acidity and the sauce is flavorful too. Tres leches is pretty awesome too. You have to give them a try, great food for a little place out in Portsmouth.

This is a walk in, walk out place with a little outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and quick. The food was quite generously portioned and very good. Loved the salsa.

I ordered the birria tacos and a burrito. This review is going to focus on the tacos. The burrito was a good size, fair price, no complaints.
The tacos left me feeling a bit mixed. The taco itself was great. There were a lot of juices in the container and the taco shell did not fall apart. The meat was tasty and the tacos were pretty filling. I would definitely order them again, with maybe some other toppings and i wouldnt bother with the consome. Although the meat and taco had a nice flavor, the consome was pretty flavorless. It didnt stand out from the flavor of the taco so it basically just made it wet for nothing.
Again, im not saying they were bad. The tacos were good, definitely order them. Just maybe use other toppings or hot sauce instead of the consome.

Went here after a beach day with a few friends. I like that it is assembly style to build your own burrito, but that it is more localized than the big chain competitors. I ordered the birria tacos and the street corn in a cup while my bf and friends got the burritos. Portions were generous, but the ground beef was a little bit off and the salsa is milder than I am used too although there were only two heat options. It was also a little pricier than similar options (almost $50 for two people)

Delicious and friendly! We always get the kids crispy tacos with beans, a chicken and cheese quesadilla and a bowl with rice pico and guacamole etc. The flan is soo tasty! Highly recommend

I haven’t been here in quite a while but I went back today to get a bowl. They were extremely nice and loaded the bowl up with so much meat. I am very happy with the taste and experience that I had coming here. I am glad I went back.
