I called in an order for lunch and it was delicious. While I was there, I seen a waitress carrying an order to a table and it was the biggest burger I have seen. It looked awesome! I’ll be trying that next. Everything I have tried there has been awesome. They have a great staff also. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Great job!

My husband and I came during a weekend busy hour however, we sat at the nearest open bar seats to get immediate assistance when the waiter quickly cleaned and offered menus. After receiving our order despite how busy it was, the waitress ensured I was not empty. Very good family vibe, I will definitely come again.

Jakes is the perfect place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. the prices are reasonable the portions are perfect and the staff is always warm and welcoming. cant say enough good things about Jakes. my father in law came from California to visit and was blown away with the price point, the portions and how hospitable everyone was.

This was my first visit to Jake’s Diner, and it was a great experience. The atmosphere is quaint and relaxing, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. The food was good, with generous portions at reasonable prices. My only complaint was the Mac n cheese was not that great – not homemade. Mashed potatoes and turnip greens were delicious. I’ll definitely be returning!

We used to come here all the time. Never again. Our server took our order and never came back once. Never checked on us. Never filled our coffee, I had to get up from my meal and ask another server for a coffee refill and it was the only one I got. I usually drink 3 cups or more. , I had to ask the same server again for our check. Our actual server came back, she didn’t say anything friendly or ask about our meal, she just stuck the card reader in my face, and walked away, no real thanks for coming in…. nothing. Just a blah attitude. I’m not leaving a tip for that. Ever.
And the kicker……she dropped the food off, never returned and passed our table and my empty coffee cup 4 times while talking on her cell phone. You never let servers talk on their cell phones while waiting tables, that is ridiculous. I’ve never once had a server carry on a cell phone conversation and pass by us multiple times in a dining room. Ever. This is the first time I ever recall paying for a meal and not leaving a tip. But if we’re not important enough for your business, then you’re not getting our business anymore. I really feel like coming back in their and getting my money back because that was not a fair price at all for our experience there. 38 dollars and I had to wait on myself.

Had an incredible server! I wish I had made note of her name. I had the Philly cheese omelet. Delish. Needed a bit more cheese but awesome and enough for the largest stomach.

We stopped by around 3 pm. Place was deserted which was great for us because we got to pick our seats. Service was great. Food was pretty good. I was a little iffy about jakes seeing as there are so many around this area. But im glad i tried it. Would definitely come back.

To get 5 stars out of me says ALOT!! It was our first time eating there today at this location. I will be honest and just say that I had low expectations because Ive been to other locations. I will also say that we only emded up pulling into the driveway because our original plans for lunch fell through because the restaurant was too busy.
Well…. it was a DIVINE DETOUR!!
The first thing I noticed was how well kept the outside of the property was. That was a promising sign. We go in and were greeted several times by several staff, another great sign. Next, the place was CLEAN! In fact, I watched a server literally wipe down condiment bottles with disinfectant wipes after a table left. I was pleasantly shocked! It only went up from there…
Our server, Maleya (not sure of spelling), was so pleasant and timely. Our food came out accurate, hot and quick!!! And to top it off…it was DELICIOUS!!
I was so impressed, I asked to speak with the manager, she was kind and engaging and I had to commend her for leading such a great staff in customer service. We will be back and drive the 15 mins to eat there although there is a location 1.5 miles down the road from us.
I promised to write this review. Because great service desires to be acknowledged!

Thought we would try a second location of Jake’s Diner after a less than impressive lunch at another.
I had the Philly Steak omelet, and gravy. Both had great taste though the omelet would benefit with a nice slather of whiz. The wife had a sausage and egg wrap with grits that she enjoyed as well.
The staff were polite and quick with our food, and the restaurant is very clean and modern.
Looking forward to a return visit soon.

Food: Beef Tips over Rice, meat tender and favorable. However, my two sides of yams and black eyed peas, both could have used more seasoning.
Service: 5 out of 5
Atmosphere: It was as one would expect from an eating establishment identified as a diner. And it laid out with plenty of walk around room and clean.
Parking: a few spaces near the door additional parking in the rear.
