Good food, WORST service. I did a delivery order through UberEats and the restaurant used their own delivery driver, honestly worst thing they can do. My order was 40 minutes late (waited over an hour for this order) and called to find out where it was. The woman who picked up the phone wasn’t just unprofessional, she reacted as if it was her order that was late. I called twice and was told the first time that my order was out for delivery would arrive in 10 minutes. I gave them 15 minutes and called back when I still haven’t received it and the woman on the line put the phone down, not on hold, so I heard her conversation with the driver where the driver apparently went to the wrong address. The woman corrected the driver , picked up the phone and told me that the driver just left and I would receive my order in 10 minutes. Did she know I heard the conversation? Did she know I was already told this? I have no idea, but when I called her out she took it soooooo personally as if she wasn’t aware that my order was late by 30 minutes at this point and I JUST heard her lying. She hung up on me and immediately canceled the order. Is the food good? Sure. Is it worth the price or the headache of disgusting workers and slow service? Not at all. It’s basic at best, you’ll find better.

I went to this restaurant last month with my friend. We wanted to have some asian food But the restaurant owner came outside from this restaurant and told us to try there food. So we tried the food. Food is okay. Different taste. We had a good time there. Hard to find the parking spot. Thank you and we wish you all the best! Keep it up..!

We’re visiting from Oregon and leading up to this trip all my boyfriend wanted was good Jamician food. We took the Staten Island ferry and walked until we found a spot. This place went above and beyond all expectations.
Atmosphere: When we saw the grill outside we knew we had to ask what they were cooking. The man I’m assuming owner at the grill was so kind and welcoming (without being pushy). The music was fun and it seemed like this place has neighborhood customers which I think says a lot about the place. Anyone out of town should check this place out.
Food: We ordered the large oxtail with yams and mac & cheese and the medium jerk chicken with rice/beans and mac salad. Everything was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. We had enough food to take home a whole meal. We felt like these recipes had been perfected over time and everything tasted so fresh/warm.
We were asked how our food was and the man insisted on giving us a free koolaid. We tipped $20 and if we ever come back out this way we will stop here again! Nothing like great food + hospitality.

Absolutely foul. This place should be embarrassed to charge money. The food was disgusting, there was a hair in my plate, and instead of a refund , they had the audacity to offer me another plate of the same inedible mess. I paid $44 for rice so hard it could chip a tooth and oxtails drowned in sugar like a dessert gone wrong. Zero flavor, zero standards, zero accountability. This wasn’t just bad — it was insulting. Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else.

I’ve passed this place many times, this was first time going in. I ordered 10 pc fried shrimp w/ fries. Food temperature was hot and shrimp were well-seasoned. Fries were unfortunately very basic and had no salt (no salt or pepper packets were put in my bag). I had to reduce rating because condiments were really lacking and impacted my meal. I wasn’t expecting to only get 2 small tartar sauce packets (for TEN shrimp! One packet, if s t r e t c h e d is good for 3 pcs MAX). In fact, I’m used to seafood/fish spots having the big bottles of tartar/ketchup/hot sauce on the counter. I only got 2 small ketchup packets as well, which wasn’t enough to cover even half my fries. I winded up having to use the 2 small hot sauce packets as well, but for the most part I had to eat a good amount of bland somewhat dry fries. The decor & interior is quite cool: R&B music videos on large TV, and FREE Ms. PAC Man video game! Overall, this place, based on my first visit, is decent to good (depending on your order) and there’s room for improvement—starting with the condiments—I don’t know why I got only 2 of everything (except for napkins, only got one of those); maybe I should play numbers, 2-2-2. I finished my meal with a strawberry lemonade which I have no complaints about. Also, customer service was good.

May I eat this everyday? I’m too serious. If you don’t eat here, you’re delirious. The oxtails were off of the bone good, the string beans with the hot sauce added…stop playing. Fish and Chips were delicious and the fries were cooked to perfection. The customer service excellent. Talk about kindness, and being treated like a guest. Additionally, it’s very clean and cool. Cleanest bathrooms too. Lastly, the Ambiance chill, and music was bomb.

Want Fried Fish? Nah. This ain’t it. I ordered 4 Whiting fish. FOUR WHOLE FISH
1. FOOD – What I got was 2 whitings (pictured) AND 2 pieces of 2 whitings and I took it out of the container and it was disappointing to see.
2. FOOD – DRY. The taste is bland, just unseasoned bread crumbs/cornmeal. Looks better than tasted. I wanted some fish from a place that knew what they were doing and I am SO DISAPPOINTED.
3. SERVICE – I should have known when I saw all of the prices whited out and covered. And the woman behind the counter wasn’t warm or smile once. I gave the 2 stars because the man in the corner and the woman at the door cracked a smile.
4. ATMOSPHERE – Great space. Really nice inside. THAT MENU? An EYESORE all of those white-out on the big menu and no available menus and the prices given were made up as she went off the top of her head.
FIRST TIME, LAST TIME – DO NOT RECOMMEND I went because of the reviews. I hope this is seen because I wouldn’t believe those for what it’s worth. If you know of any GOOD fried fish, please let me know. This place was UNREMARKABLE.

Well I drove all the way from Brooklyn to get some catfish. The last time I was here the fish was fresh and delicious. Today the fish didn’t taste freshly fried. It was rubbery and tough. I was very disappointed in my trip today. Even though they didn’t have catfish today , I still expected the whiting to taste fresh,crispy and tender.

The food here is great, oxtails with Mac and cheese and candy yams is my go to, the fried catfish and fried chicken wings are also amazing. Service is fast and prices are reasonable.
