Amazing experience and one of my fave/top vietnamese restaurants! Food was fresh and delicious, service was friendly and prompt, and ambience also beautiful inside. They have a separate takeout section as well for Banh-mi and vietnamese desserts. The Durian smoothie was delicious, and had real durian fruit pieces in it. Overall a must-try!

The absolute BEST Vietnamese food I’ve ever had! From the outside, the place may look a bit unsuspecting, but the interior is spotless and beautifully decorated. We had the Bún bò Huế and lemongrass chicken vermicelli with spring roll and it was all AMAZING. The flavours were so rich and elevated. We also had a durian smoothie and strawberry milkshake which were both huge, smooth, and yummy while not being too sweet. The service was also incredibly attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Hands. Down. The best Vietnamese restaurant I have been to. The recent transformation of the last area of the restaurant (which is converted into a takeout spot) has an INSANE selection of authentic Vietnamese desserts. Jellies, herbal desserts, a PANDAN COCONUT boba (a flavour I only get access to when I’m all the way out in Toronto!), Banh mi baguettes are CRISPY with toppings:to bread ratio that are so satisfying. The owner went for a month trip back to their native Vietnam just to perfect the craft of cooking (always going the extra mile) and source the best ingredients so that the drinks and raw ingredients are made of only the highest quality . They do NOT skip corners. Aside from the beautiful ambience (which is such a beautiful change from the regular aesthetic in pho restaurants), food is king for me. And none of it disappoints. Broth is wonderfully aromatic (no skimping on the herbs-clearly), the Thai tea ‘s tea leaf flavour was so pure, betel leaf wrapped beef +rice noodles had the perfect balance of toppings. By the way, broth was the real deal (I had takeout and the broth’s collagen was ample enough to solidify for a nice jiggle). A lot of restaurants water down their broth to the point that the broth is watery the next day in the fridge. Need I say more.?

I was in the area, and was very surprised with the food quality, portion, and customer service.
Spring was so good, there were 4. Took 1 bite then remember to take picture because it was so good that I wanted to make sure I take the picture and post my review. Happy that Hamilton finally have a good Asian restaurant like this.
The rice platter, ooofph! That hit the spot. Remind me of the time I visit vietnam.
Highly highly recommend this restaurant and to give it a try.

My first time enjoying this Vietnamese restaurant, and I loved every bite of it. The service was excellent. The food was quick and delicious. The restaurant layout was slightly confusing, but no complaints outside of that. Can’t wait to go back.

Nice and welcoming place, lots of vegetarian options and some vegan as well. Vegan pho was tasty, mango salad was a bit sweet for me but well made and fresh. Place is clean with nice atmosphere. Tea was delicious.

No words can describe the hospitality and the quality of food at Em Oi. We hosted a dinner for 30 and all of them are very impressed. (We have a lot of picky eater in our group)
11-10 on all scale, excited so see them thrive.

Not sure what happened to my first review when this place was opened but they opened now with new menu and new side bar for Vietnamese sandwiches. Very nice authentic Vietnamese dishes with great service

The decor is beautiful and modern. The customer service is above standard and you can see that they do try their best.
We had the vermicelli with spring rolls and beef wrap, the duck bamboo soup, banh mi, strawberry waffle, and a Vietnamese salted coffee.
Everything was pretty fresh and decent flavours.
The coffee was regular Vietnamese coffee, however the whip cream was salty instead of sweet. I enjoyed it but it may not be for everyone.
Overall, I would for certain dine here again.

We specifically came to this restaurant because they serve cafe Muy- salt coffee. We both had the coconut shrimp soup and coffee. Service and food was excellent.
