I’ll start off by saying that I typically don’t leave bad reviews even if I didn’t like a place but this place in particular was not very good.
I was just driving through the area and I was hungry so I popped in to see if the food was decent. I ordered three flautas and a chicken quesadilla. When I received the food, as I bit into the third flauta, I found a toothpick broken up inside of that particular flauta. Completely grossed out I took it to the counter, and the young lady offered a refund, but said I opted for a drink.
I then started eating the chicken quesadilla, and it was completely soaked with salsa, almost impossible to eat because it was soggy and falling apart unlike a typical quesadilla (see picture)
Needless to say, I won’t be coming back to this place ever again lol

Was excited they moved in the neighborhood. When you go eat mexican food you are looking for that “taste”. Did not find that here. Ordered the enchilada dinner and 2 crispy fried ground beef tacos. The tacos you could tell had that old grease taste and were really skimpy on cheese. I tried 3 of the sauces and didn’t like any of them. I will not say I won’t go back but was not what I was hoping for.

Was great food and value when they 1st opened their lincoln & edgemoore location but the last two times I’ve ordered shredded beef tacos 70% is lettuce with very little meat. Also, their rice is horrible and someone needs to show them how to make good Mexican rice. I’m very disappointed in the corners they’ve cut and will not be going back their. Thumbs down David!

David’s Express has some of the best burritos I’ve ever had. Their David’s special burrito is so freaking good man. I also really enjoy their breakfast plates especially with chorizo. Great place and it’s kinda hidden since it’s not on any busy streets so I’m glad I was lucky enough to find it

Some of the best fast mexican food in the city! Love the carnitas burrito. Very nice people
and very good food. Definitely try if you haven’t

Food was overpriced. Spent over $8 on three ground beef tacos that hardly had any meat and legit tasted like dirt. Meat was also soggy and wet with coloring that seemed inconsistent with normal taco meat.

Today was another spur of the moment meal. I was hanging out with a close friend, and she was craving a tostada, and she suggested David’s Express on E. Lincoln. To my surprise the menu was vast. More selections than I had the time to read. I ended up ordering the Chimichanga with chicken. Basically it’s a fried burrito. I did somewhat enjoy it. The sour cream and guac left little to desire, but the fry on the Chimichanga itself was excellent. I actually really enjoyed the shredded chicken in it. It packed a ton of flavor. And the beans were your basic refried style. Like I said this burrito was decent and I’d expect nothing less from somewhere like David’s.

“Had the vegetarian burrito — absolutely huge and packed with flavor. Super tasty, fresh ingredients. Definitely worth it!”

Very good customer service, friendly staff, friendly owner. Very clean lobby and bathrooms. Lots of parking and a drive thru. The food was delicious, but if you order the giant burrito, make sure you have a whole roll of paper towels handy. lol, cause it gets messy but so worth it. I’m not a salsa kind of person but did try a couple, and they were good, and one had a great bite of spicy goodness. Prices are very competitive with the industry.

I’m all for small businesses, but by far that’s the worst Mexican place in town. 14 bucks for fajitas that’s mainly veggies and few left over carne asada!
All salsas are terrible, watered down. They’re going cheap on everything. Never again
