⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review – El Mariachi
“Small town expectations—big heart execution.”

Tucked right here in small town, this place understands something most restaurants have forgotten lately:

A fair plate of food shouldn’t be a luxury… it should be normal.

And El Mariachi delivers that beautifully.

From the moment our plates landed, we could see the care:
– Rice cooked perfectly — not dry, not oily, just right with real flavor.
– Refried beans with melted cheese that didn’t taste canned or rushed.
– Tortillas with queso so smooth and generous, you feel like the kitchen actually wants you full and happy.
– Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and guacamole — not thrown together, but presented like a real meal.
– The tacos had life — bright, crunchy, seasoned, and not skimpy.

This could have easily been an average plate… but it wasn’t.

What really stood out was the fairness.
In today’s world, when most places have started charging more and giving less — this meal felt balanced and honest. The portions match the price. The flavors show intention. And you leave feeling good… not taken advantage of.

That’s rare now.
And it matters.

This is exactly what a small-town restaurant should be:
Authentic. Consistent. Fair. Welcoming.
You feel like they actually care about how you leave — full, satisfied, and thinking about your next visit.

And yes — before the first bite, we took pictures… because good food deserves to be remembered.

See the photos — they tell the story better than words.

So if you’re passing through, or if you’re lucky enough to live nearby… stop in. Support them. Enjoy a plate served with pride.

We’ll be back — and we’ll be bringing family with us.

Music would help the atmosphere. Some good Mexican music. There wasn’t any music at all. Food was ok. Not the best, for at best prices. I check out many restaurants, and this place is just not up to par with the price. Two entrees, a drink and queso cheese shouldn’t be $45. We shared a bottle of Mexican Coca-Cola. She had the enchilada sampler, and I had the vegetarian quesadilla. The server didn’t bother us much with the petty, “How is everything?” And it wasn’t hard to hail her down when I needed a knife to cut through the tortilla, or when we wanted a dessert. But the place isn’t extremely busy during the non vacation season. The flan is pretty good, they offer it with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle, if you like that.

Based on the reviews, this place appears to be favorable for most people, but unfortunately they don’t pay their bills, at least the one that is owed to my client.

My wife had the Mexican Carnitas, she said everything was good except the rice was cold. Was disappointed that you do not serve margaritas or other mixed drinks. Fried ice cream and sopapillas with ice cream and honey were excellent.

The ribeye steak ,4 jumbo shrimp, were the best of the dish. The chicken breast and smoked sausage average in flavors.
Overall a good amount of food for
$ 15 .00 . I took 1/2 the meal home.

Most consistent Mexican food restaurant around, in a good way. This is our date night place every week. Same dish, combination plate, every week. Sound boring? Nope, we just know what’s good and what we like. We share and always leave full. Ok, we’ve stepped out a few times for the fajitas and they are PERFECT!
