The mushroom risotto was decent, the aranchini with ragu were super yummy also the grilled shrimps were super delicious.
Honestly speaking the staff made our experience super pleasant not the food.
I casually mentioned that it was my anniversary with my wife, and they went above and beyond — setting us up with a perfect table that had a stunning rooftop view over Maadi just in time for the sunset. The ambiance was serene and romantic.
The food? Absolutely exceptional. Every dish we ordered was flawless — perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and rich in flavor. The pacing of the service was just right; we never felt rushed, and each plate came at the perfect time.
From service to setting to the cuisine itself, everything about Estro exudes premium quality. It was a truly memorable experience. Highly, highly recommended.
Rooftop dining with an incredible view out to pyramids.
The pumpkin ravioli was a particular hit and I enjoyed the penne with meatballs.
Octopus was dry and not as expected
Tucked away inside a small hotel in Maadi, Estro is a hidden gem worth discovering. Although the restaurant is within the hotel, it has its dedicated lift, making it feel like a destination in itself. Once you reach the rooftop, you’re greeted with a calm, cozy atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed evening away from the city’s buzz.
We started with the prosciutto appetizer, which was fresh and flavorful, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. The highlight was the Argentinian steak, medium-cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, and everything felt well-orchestrated.
If you plan to visit on a weekend, I highly recommend making a reservation, as this spot is bound to fill up. For excellent food, a serene rooftop setting, and truly proper service, Estro is definitely worth a visit.
The rooftop setting adds even more to the experience, with stunning views, elegant ambiance, and just the right amount of buzz to make it feel special but relaxed. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the wine selection paired beautifully with the meal.
If you’re craving real Italian in a setting that’s both refined and inviting, Estro is the place to be. A perfect blend of quality, vibe, and that unforgettable Italian soul.
