Hilltop is truly a treat! The views are absolutely breathtaking and create the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. The service was spectacular—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so well taken care of. Everything we ordered off the menu was fresh and delicious. Since we booked our stay through a travel agent, we also received the breakfast buffet, which was mostly pastries. They were tasty, though it would have been even better with a few more protein options. Overall, Madera is a beautiful spot with amazing food and service, and we’d definitely come back!

Great location, and standard breakfast is good.
However, ordered the eggs Benedict and they made it with tomatos, mushrooms and onions !!! This is NOT how eggs Benedict are supposed to be served. It’s fine if you want to butcher a traditional recipe but at least don’t call it Benedict and this is not how Benedict eggs are served. Only creates confusion if you take a traditional breakfast dish do something completely different and still call it by the same name. Cuisine at this place needs improvement!!

Same story, different restaurant on property. Service needs serious remediation. Short staffed even at the pool. Dirty towels and dishes left poolside hours after guests had departed. Lounge chairs too close together for separate parties. Many ignored mask rules while not seated and staff did zero policing. Places like this will keep COVID-19 alive and well.
