This place is a great addition to the mahoning valley. Incredible pizza. Nothing fancy–no NY style or detroit or Sicilian, etc. Just an amazing classic pan pizza. The crust reminds me of sourdough. Crisp and slightly crunchy on the outside, dense and chewy inside.
The gyro was a bit salty for my taste, but Pappouli’s makes one of the few pies I’ll gladly drive 20+ minutes for. Very fair prices as well.

Wanted some pizza for lunch before our drive back to Cleveland and found this place. Pizza was hot, cheesy, and delicious! Even approved by the biggest pizza critic we know. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be back next time we come through.

Service was amazing everyone was so nice. Food was delicious and simple we got a little bit of everything. Wings are large pizza is also bigger than I thought it would be pasta is delicious the homemade meatballs soft. The only thing I noticed is the garlic sauce for the winds just tasted like butter. Overall great experience and glad to have supported a local business and will continue to order in the future!

I have ordered here several times and at first it was ok but the last few times the food has not been very good. The gyro meet tastes like fish and is over cooked and very dry to the point it is like trying to eat shoe leather. The fried chicken coating is hard to explain. Under the crispy coating there was a mushy, thick, not cooked, almost looked like stuffing with green herbs or something that I had to scrape off. The JoJo potatoes are so big that they do not cook all the way through so they are rock hard in the middles. And they put the cold coleslaw in the bag right on top of the hot foods and then set it on top of the oven so by the time I got home the slaw was very hot and the mayo in it had separated. It was inedible and went in the trash. Also they never give you the rolls with the dinners as the menu states that should go with it. You shouldn’t have to ask for these things like keep cold foods cold and hot foods hot and give me rolls with the dinner. I am really not that difficult to please. Pizza is just ok- the white sauce is good but the red sauce has no flavor to me. Staff is friendly but I finally just quit going here any more.

I like to support local businesses while traveling and most times it pays off. I was very pleased this time. Great Pizza, good flavor and plenty of toppings. Personally I prefer a bit thinner crust, and will request it on my next visit. Good stuff!
