I love this place! When I yearn for good Italian Home cooking, this is the place I go to. Their eggplant and shrimp parmigiana is to die for. And I am now also in love with their cauliflower pizza. The staff are oh so pleasant. The owner is a fluff ball of energy, very pleasant and warm; and never forgets a face. Keep up with feeding us very good good! A taste that stays with us!

The eggplant parmesan panini was so delicious and fresh. Had to send out a review. Plenty of parking in the front and rear parking as well, handicap ♿️ accessible, clean restrooms, plenty of seating for the whole family. Highly recommend

I’ve been to Toskana a couple of times for take-out. It’s definitely convenient and good for a quick pizza fix. Last time I ordered a mushroom pizza, which was made fresh and smelled great.
The downside is that the pizza tends to be a little watery, and has the issue where the toppings are not very even across the pie and slide off (so the goal is to certainly eat quickly!). Pricing is slightly cheaper if you call in (as expected). Overall, it’s good—not amazing, but does the job when you’re craving something in the area.

Came all the way from Jacksonville FL to eat here. But seriously. Flew in for a weekend visit with family and had the Sicilian meatballs sausage and the thin crust margarita. It was a cold January night with the first good blizzard in a decade on the way and these pies were filling and warmed me down to my soul. So if you’re ever in from Florida and want a good old ‘NY’ style pizza (well it is NY) then this is the place.
P.S. we did take out

Never had a Sicilian like the one I had here In my life it was so fluffy and soft honestly didn’t feel guilty eating here it tasted really light not heavy 10/10. I can’t wait to go back and try everything else. The garlic cheesy bread had really flavor real garlic also. If you’re ever in the area it’s a for sure spot to come. Visting NYC for a week so glad I found a good pizza spot!

This restaurant is simple in terms of the aesthetics of the place. When you come in you see the dinning area and then you come to the area with a variety of pizzas and breads which look delicious. You can order from the extensive menu and wait for a 10 to 15 minutes for your order. I had take away and the cashier was able to suggest good choices. She was patient and hard working. The soup I ordered was so large and tasty I was full. The bread that accompanied it was tasty and of appropriate consistency for a soup. The pizza was large and tasty flavors

In to Garden City around 8pm for a meeting the following day and looking for some Italian food. After a recommendation from a colleague I arrived at Toskana at about 8:15. Dining room was empty but one of the guys behind the counter was friendly and had me take a seat and served me. I ordered Chicken Parmesan and it comes with salad or pasta so I chose a Caesar salad. Also added a slice of Sicilian for an appetizer.
The pizza was delivered in about 5 mins piping hot along with some bread. The slice was perfect… crust had a good amount of crispness, the cheese was gooey, and the flavor was spot on. I had a couple pieces of the warm bread (I think it was focaccia) and saved the rest for my meal.
7-10 mins later my entree and salad were served. I ate the Caesar first while the Chicken Parm was cooling and it was just ok with a good flavored dressing. The Chicken Parmesan was thin, tender, cooked perfectly, covered in sauce & cheese and absolutely delicious. I used some more of that bread to consume as much of the remaining sauce as possible.
Service was great, soda refills plentiful, and cost was reasonable. There was a steady stream of carryout customers which is always a good sign that the food is a winner.
When I’m back in the Garden City area I’ll revisit to try some more menu items.
Highly recommend!
