A truly wonderful dining experience! The calamari was phenomenal, and both the Veal Osso Buco and Short Ribs were absolutely delicious. Paulo was an attentive and friendly server who made our evening especially memorable. If we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely be returning.

Excellent Italian restaurant in the heart of the North End. They have tables on the main floor and upstairs (which seems to be a little cooler).
Started with the zucchini flower with ricotta cheese as an appetizer.
Then had the tuna and the chicken Parmesan. Both were excellent. You really need to try their pasta which was why I had the parm.
They have a large selection of Italian wines.

Sitting off the main Strip of Hanover Street its very comfortable inside with soft lighting. It was during Dine Boston so we ordered off the Prix Fixe menu for $46 pp. One option was a 6oz Filet which was cooked perfectly . Our server Isabella was very knowledgeable and not overly attentive. We had the best experience ever at Assaggio Ristorante. The atmosphere is nice, cozy, and welcoming, perfect for a special night out. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared.
The staff was excellent, and our waitress Adelina truly made the night unforgettable. She is incredibly sweet, attentive, and professional. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the extra care and kindness we received meant so much to us. We were surprised with flowers, a delicious dessert, and a drink on the house, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch.
Everything about the evening felt special. We couldn’t have asked for a better anniversary celebration. Highly recommend—we will definitely be back! ❤️

Booked a reservation about a month or so in advance. Wonderful atmosphere and amazing food and cocktails. I got an espresso martini and it was to die for. Me and my boyfriend shared the meatball appetizer and it was wonderful. I got a chicken park with gnocchi as a substitute for the spaghetti. The first table was a little wobbly, so our server graciously moved us to another table making sure we knew it was no problem at all. I believe our servers name was Izabelle, amazing! Truly went above and beyond. She was so sweet and kind and made our anniversary dinner so special 🙂 would recommend to anyone wanting some food Italian and contains in north end.

I want to congratulate this restaurant for absolutely nailing Valentine’s Day!!!! They were truly on top of everything, especially impressive given it’s one of the busiest nights of the year in one of the busiest areas. The service was impeccable from start to finish. As for the food, it was a bit mediocre, but considering how packed it was on Valentine’s Day, that likely played a role. Pricing was standard for the North End. The ambiance is also a bit different from the stereotypical North End spot – you don’t get the rustic, old-world Tuscan, cozy Italian vibe. Instead, it feels more modern.
