My husband has a Cali dish. It was tuna poke with green salad, cucumber salad, rice and macaroni salad. It was a generous portion, and it had a good flavor. I got the smoked pork dish. It was a generous portion of smoked pork with some vegetables, rice, and macaroni salad. my dish was also very tasty. The people at the food truck were very welcoming, you had to wait for your food but it was worth it, we only waited by five minutes. Overall, it was great !

Great food! Check their website, sometimes not at usual place. We had the Hawaiian roasted pork and a 2 Fer lunch shrimp tempura and beef. Both very good. Decent portions good value. No seating area, so plan to sit on sidewalk or take it home. All freshly made, so a bit of a wait but definitely worth it. They were taking orders almost the entire time we were waiting, so the word is out! Enjoy! Definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic Hawaiian-style lunch from a food truck in the Walmart parking lot! The owner greeted us warmly and was helpful in our deciding what to order. We got the Chili Pepper Chicken (fried nuggets, sweet/spicy) and the Hawaiian Style Smoke Meat (sliced and glazed smoked pork). Both were excellent! If eating on the run while shopping or picking up lunch to go, this is a great option!

Very delicious food! Service was great. She recommended some of the popular plates. We had the smoked meat plate, Cali plate, and deep fried pork musubi and it was amazing! Took about 10 minutes from ordering to getting our food so very quick! You can eat at the table there or take elsewhere.

Chef Liza provided incredible service and delicious food for our recent wedding. We are especially grateful for her stepping up last minute, when our reception venue/food fell through with minimal notice before our “big day.”
Our guests are still raving about the Kalua Pork Wontons (particularly the sweet chili sauce), the papaya dressing, Hawaiian Macaroni Salad, and fresh island fish. Her attention to detail made the entire evening run smoothly, allowing us to focus on enjoying our special day.

Stopped by PEK after our ATV tour for a quick afternoon lunch and they did not disappoint! I got one of their daily specials a Teriyaki burger and my hubs got something off their regular menu. Both were excellent and full of flavor. Some of the best food truck food we’ve ever had! Highly recommend them if your a local or visiting Kauai. 🙂

I know this is a food truck in a Walmart parking lot, but it’s the best food we’ve had so far. We all got different dishes: loco moco with the juiciest/most savory pork, saimin (fried noodles) with the best shrimp tempura I’ve ever eaten in my life, and a teriyaki burger + mango lemonades that were highly refreshing.
If you’re hungry and in the area, do yourself a favor and grab some lunch here.
