It has been 30 years since I have eaten here. It hasn’t changed very much. Seems only faces have changed. I well enjoyed the eating experience. I will make it a regular stop when I am in town again.

Came after checking out another restaurant we decided to come here. The food was good and so was the waitress even though she and the restaurant was slammed due to the Dodge Day activity in town. We had to wait a bit for our food but the waitress kept coming by to let us know about the progress of our meal. I would come again.

I had an exceptionally disappointing experience at the restaurant that left a sour taste—figuratively and literally. After eagerly anticipating my takeout order, I arrived home only to find the food lukewarm and clearly over-processed, devoid of any freshness or flavor. The tacos were particularly disheartening; they arrived soggy and unappetizing, rendering them nearly inedible. As if that wasn’t enough, I unpacked my meal to discover that my order was incomplete—both the rice and beans were missing entirely. Feeling frustrated and let down, I decided to call the restaurant to express my concerns. Unfortunately, I was met with an astonishingly rude and dismissive response from the staff, which only deepened my disappointment. Given this experience, I have no intention of returning to this establishment.

Used to eat here all the time when I was in high school. Hadn’t been back in quite some time. They’ve made some nice changes/improvements since I was last there; but still the same delicious food! The Small Ricardo’s Burrito has always been a favorite. Salsa always used to vary a bit from one time to the next, but was perfect on this visit.

The food was fresh and the cilantro hot sauce was very flavorful. Overall was an awesome meal . I ordered the combo enchilada plate with 1 cheese 1 chicken and 1 beef enchilada. The cheese enchilada was excellent, the chicken enchilada was the best I’ve had at any restaurant . The sour cream sauce had a little spice mixed in with it and overall gave it a pink color. Excellent excellent excellent flavor. The beef enchilada was made with real hamburger meat and was not frozen meat. It tasted like it was homemade for sure. Overall the best experience with enchilada meal at any restaurant. I will be eating here again the next time I visit Dodge City , Kansas.

Great food. Authentic. I had the pork green chili burrito. Perfect on the spicyness. Get the chunky prepared guacamole. You don’t find many places with fried flour tacos. Make
Sure you get one too.

Ok here it goes We just ordered a bowl of queso which was fine. Salsa tasted off like old ingredients. We also ordered a Chimichanga $14 with grilled chicken inside and added shrimp to it for $3.50 more so we wait 45 minutes get our food and they put shrimp in it over cooked and with the tails on, the grilled chicken tasted old, really bad experience we had a bite of shrimp and a bite of chicken and said no way. So we told the cashier and she gave us a ticket for $37 we noticed we were charged 8.50 for the shrimp and $16 for the chimichanga plus the queso was $8 we said surely you don’t expect us to pay for bad food so clerk adjusted it to $31 I explained we didn’t eat it so anyway we ended up paying $13, Hope all her refunds will go through clerk kept crumbling up all the receipts and you could tell she didn’t want me to have them. She first said she will refund the whole thing and I said I’ll pay for the queso because we ate it. All I can say is check your receipt another customer was having the same issue. While we were standing there. Definitely not a 4.1 rating restaurant.

I was so excited to get my 2 beef enchiladas and taco until I opened it up and ate it ..the beef enchiladas had such a thick flour tortilla that I couldn’t cut thru it and the taste was horrible the taco was fried with old grease which left a horrible taste in my mouth and I didn’t get but 1 and I measured it 1 teaspoon not tablespoon of seasoned beef and not much else …what happened to the El charros we all loved and was packed …the food was horrible and a waste of money but the service was good…they didn’t give you enough salsa to season the food so I had to get store bought and the chips were a joke went to drive thru…sorry but I started to notice the last few times it’s been poor food not the food we use to love and come home just to eat there..great service horrible food

Food took an hour to arrive, chimichanga was soggy and smothered in a watered down cheese that the menu specified would be on the side. Shrimp was way overcooked. I will just eat somewhere else now
