We stopped in NOLA for dinner, found this little place and we are so glad we did. There was no wait which was a concern at first. Come to find out there was an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Don’t let this deter you. The food was good, no complaints. It is made to order so there could be a little wait. Dami was our server and she was so sweet and attentive. Bartenders were very nice also.

We saw the reference to the Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsey on our last trip to New Orleans, but didn’t get a chance to visit then. This trip with 3 birthdays we needed a place for dinner and walked in to find Tinashe serving. Tinashe was outstanding and moved tables for our group promptly where we could sit together and enjoy the live music. It was not too loud, letting us enjoy the vocals while having a conversation at our table. His service was outstanding, attentive and courteous with great food recommendations for the beans and rice, plus cheese burger onion burger. We were very happy and enjoyed out time there and the easy access.

Our server, David, was wonderful! So attentive and really cared to hear our story. This place is a gem. All the food was delicious. Would highly recommend. Even had live music.

Our food was amazing. I ordered the Cajun pasta and cosmos and they were delicious. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners Bonnie and Camille, they were so sweet and friendly. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant was very stylish. It was the perfect place to have my birthday dinner.

Great spot! David was a fantastic server, very attentive and took an interest in getting to know us throughout our meal. Fiancé loved her gumbo and the burger was also great. Don’t sleep on that charbroiled oysters. Def worth checking out

RED FLAG !!!!! Proceed with caution. our waiter was great , but the appetizer of fried oysters was deplorable!!!! I could not proceed with my meal. I did not want anything else from this restaurant! I would never eat here. I asked to speak with a manager and the waiter told me she stepped out. I even went on the previous google review photos to see how the fried oysters looked!!! I have no idea who they had in the kitchen but it not the same person who made the fried oysters that were posted 5-6 months ago. If they fired them-they need to rehire them and double their salary. We got up and left.

Popped in to the bar this afternoon during happy hour and had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Bonnie. She was so welcoming and friendly. Really good beers, at a reasonable price and we’ll be back tomorrow night for the jazz show and will hopefully try the food too. Thanks Bonnie

Stopped in before the Santigold concert and was absolutely delighted. Requested light spice for my vegan rice and beans. It was perfect. All of the staff members felt like friends. This restaurant is a must for every future visit.
