Stopped by Neri Cafe and Mexican Grill in Clayton, NJ during a break from my son’s soccer game, and it was the perfect pick. The place looks like someone’s house from the outside, so if you’re not paying attention you might drive right past it, but definitely don’t. The food was delicious. My son ordered the rib eye tacos and I got the chicken tacos, and both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Service was quick, which was exactly what we needed between games. Great spot for a fast, tasty meal. We’ll definitely be back when we are close by next time

Neris is the absolute best. The food is phenomenal and fresh, the staff is always friendly, and the service is impeccable. Everything I’ve gotten here has been a hit. I especially love the fish tacos because they’re fresh and the fish isn’t deep fried like a lot of other places around. Their new addition of margaritas and drinks are fantastic too! Definitely the best place in Clayton!

First and won’t be the last time I come here. Food was great. Ate outside it was a nice day in March. Clean bathroom. Great service. Prices were very reasonable. My plate with the grilled chicken and avocado cheese rice scallions and pico was 20.i declined the tortillas. My girlfriend had the shrimp tacos. The tostados come as an appetizer and there were three. I managed to take a picture of one before I ate it and they are 12 bucks and almost a meal by themselves.

We were searching for something for fathers day, and happened upon Neri’s. The service was excellent, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. My wife and daughter both ended up taking some of theirs home. I was very pleased when the server was able to accommodate my special request for my meal (they offer a chicken and steak, or shrimp and steak burrito, but I wanted chicken and shrimp since we were having steak for dinner) without any issue. Definitely recommend you give them a try if you are in the area. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the guacamole. It was worth the trip by itself!

Great atmosphere and very comfortable setting inside. Food is reasonably priced and the server was absolutely amazing! Checked in periodically and was very charismatic (even spoke a bit of Spanish as a plus). My wife got the enchiladas and she rated them at an 8 (out of 10) which is great considering she’s extremely picky. Only negative thing would be the amount of flies while eating, but definitely did not take away from the great food & comfortable setting. Would recommend.

Food is actually good but they nickle and dime you on EVERYTHING. They charge $3 to add cheese to tacos, like really? They also charge $7 for a side of guacamole with my $11 tortilla chips so we’re talking almost $20 for chips and dip. Then $3.95 for a fountain soda. Ridiculous! $4 for a fountain soda is just greedy

Service & people there were super friendly, food was unreal good & the portions sizable.
Would highly recommend you drop in & see for yourself!
Prices 100% reasonable for me & even ended up with enough leftovers for a second full meal.
