RJ Indian Street Food has quickly become one of my favorite spots in San Antonio. I’ve tried their Pani puri, Papdi chaat, Bombay grill Sandwich, Samosa chaat, Veggie burger, Peri peri fries, Bhel, Samosa bun and Dabeli, and everything has been full of flavour. Their pani puri is the star for me, it’s my go-to now whenever I’m craving it. Such a wonderful place to get an authentic taste of India here in San Antonio, highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ RJ Indian Street Food Truck

One of the best food trucks in San Antonio! The pav bhaji, sandwiches , and Masala pau are full of authentic flavor, and the mango lassi is perfect with the spice. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the staff is super friendly. A must‑try if you want real Indian street food.

Best authentic Indian food in the town undoubtedly.

I was in the town for a week and I ate here for the whole week except Monday as they were close.

Priyanka and staff were so friendly and very helpful with the orders.

The best Indian Street food in San Antonio. Clean, neat, ample parking and fantastic flavors. The hospitality and service is what one would expect at their favourite food haunt. 10/10 recommended for anyone that misses or wants to try out amazing vegetarian Indian Street food.

Food is on par with other Indian places, but I noticed something odd — I’ve been ordering daily and paying cash, and they never return small change (30–70¢).

Today, when I paid, I accidentally was short by 50¢, they asked for it. So I paid an extra dollar. Their response: “You are good to go.”

It’s just mere cents, but seems they won’t compromise on a few cents but recklessly expect customers to, without acknowledging anything. Though the guy at the counter was kind, other lady behind insisted him to do/say this. Problem is not with money but the abrasive attitude.

Just an FYI, other Indian food trucks within 2.5 miles radius don’t do this. At least they acknowledge and apologize for not having change instead of being authoritative.

It’s a small food truck behind a gas station. Had three large bench/table. We went on sunday evening, felt like it was a little rushed time. We had dahi puri, mango lassi and masala tea. Dahi puri was really good, we found spices and topping perfect, lassi could be a little thin in consistency, but we liked the taste. Masala tea was just okay, nothing too special could be a little hotter. You can visit this place when you just want to have some snacks. Even the gas station didn’t feel a lot occupied. Enough parking. Might need to share the bench with others.

RJ Indian Food is amazing! Their dishes are flavorful, fresh, and they offer both **no-onion/no-garlic** and **onion–garlic** options without compromising taste. Great service, great portions—highly recommended!

Absolutely FLAVORFUL food! The owner and his team are SO friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Bombay Grill Sandwich (which was suggested by the owner) and it was DELICIOUS! Great portions! The samosas and mango lassi are excellent as well! Best part is that everything on the menu is either vegetarian or vegan

Tried samosa chatt, Pav bhaji and panner sandwich.. one thing noted in all the dishes is that spice and masala is more which is not good.. other than that, taste is ok

I love trying Desi food trucks, as they offer some of the most authentic dishes, and was not disappointed by this food truck. It took us a minute to find it. They are parked at the side of the gas station, and are unusually clean. Their portions are not bad, and you are greeted with smiling staff.

We ordered the dahi puri that was so delicious, it disappeared in under a minute. I would order a couple of plates of the dahi puri next time because of how delicious it was. The bhel puri was sweet, tangy, spicy, crunchy and ridiculously good. I saw one of the kitchen staff frying a samosa for the samosa buns that was the special for the day, and I ordered one out of curiosity. Not one dish disappointed here.

If you are in San Antonio do not miss out on this Desi food truck. You are seriously missing out if you don’t try it. And did I mention they are entirely vegetarian?!
