Reviews
One of the best food trucks in San Antonio! The pav bhaji, sandwiches , and Masala pau are full of authentic flavor, and the mango lassi is perfect with the spice. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the staff is super friendly. A must‑try if you want real Indian street food.
I was in the town for a week and I ate here for the whole week except Monday as they were close.
Priyanka and staff were so friendly and very helpful with the orders.
Today, when I paid, I accidentally was short by 50¢, they asked for it. So I paid an extra dollar. Their response: “You are good to go.”
It’s just mere cents, but seems they won’t compromise on a few cents but recklessly expect customers to, without acknowledging anything. Though the guy at the counter was kind, other lady behind insisted him to do/say this. Problem is not with money but the abrasive attitude.
Just an FYI, other Indian food trucks within 2.5 miles radius don’t do this. At least they acknowledge and apologize for not having change instead of being authoritative.
RJ Indian Food is amazing! Their dishes are flavorful, fresh, and they offer both **no-onion/no-garlic** and **onion–garlic** options without compromising taste. Great service, great portions—highly recommended!
We ordered the dahi puri that was so delicious, it disappeared in under a minute. I would order a couple of plates of the dahi puri next time because of how delicious it was. The bhel puri was sweet, tangy, spicy, crunchy and ridiculously good. I saw one of the kitchen staff frying a samosa for the samosa buns that was the special for the day, and I ordered one out of curiosity. Not one dish disappointed here.
If you are in San Antonio do not miss out on this Desi food truck. You are seriously missing out if you don’t try it. And did I mention they are entirely vegetarian?!
