Hi, I’d like to provide some feedback about my recent visit.
The food was really good, but unfortunately the service let the experience down. There were three young staff members working that night, and my boyfriend and I waited around 30–40 minutes before I finally had to get up and ask if someone could please take our order, as the staff were sitting and talking instead of serving customers.
After our meals arrived, we waited another 10 minutes for our drinks, and my boyfriend had to ask again for them to be brought out. When my drink finally came, I ordered a coconut juice but the glass was not clean — there was a piece of green onion inside it.
I’m sharing this because your food is great, and I hope the service can improve to match the quality of the meals.

Stumbled across Bangkok Bay Thai when we were at Lake Macquarie today. We were drawn to the restaurant by the lovely view from the balcony.
The views didn’t disappoint and the food was even better! We had Thai Sausages, Spring Rolls, Thai Beef Salad, Pork Knuckle and Pad See Ew. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious and they didn’t hold back on quality ingredients and flavours. They were very generous with their portions and the amount of meat they’ve given us. And even down to coconut drink having slices of coconut in there.
It was a pleasant surprise indeed – we would highly recommend and come back again the next time we’re here.

Offering an impressive menu, a standout was the unique entrée options. Entrees you don’t find on every menu, made with only the freshest ingredients.
The wonderful Ink champions exceptional service and runs a tight operation alongside her team. The restaurant’s atmosphere is upbeat, and the balcony views are a highlight. There’s something special about dining with undisturbed views of Lake Mac.
Highly recommended and we look forward to visiting again!

Had a Tom yum soup made entirely from scratch as far as I could tell which is surprising considering how many places use pre made packets while this place had bits of lemongrass in it my partner had pad kra pao (holy basil) and she has been hunting down an authentic version of the dish in Australia and had no luck until now and she loved it very spicy but it’s tolerable and irresistible will definitely be coming back frequently

I’ve ordered once, and a friend just recently, from Bangkok Bay Thai Toronto and while the flavours of the Thai Beef salad are amazing, the beef is a tough as boots and inedible. Straight in the bin. Disappointing and won’t order from them again.

Absolutely delicious food! Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We dined upstairs, and the view overlooking the waterfront was simply stunning. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy a great meal, and take in the atmosphere. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
